I have been coming here for years to have breakfast. Service is often extremely stoic, the consistency of the food varies and the taste of their coffee varies from awful to acceptable. If I come early I get coffee made from the leftover grounds of yesterday and I have never ever seen a restaurant or cafe overextract their brew to infinity. They run the water through it for 70 - 80 seconds while 25 - 30 is normal. I complained a few times about the coffee and had to give up because the staff are just annoyed when you complain. So I gave up and just ordered tea instead. I have never seen so many people order tea with their breakfast!
The only reason I kept returning all these years were the breakfast sausages. They we're always great. Until a few days ago when they suddenly we're dry and rubbery. When I mentioned this to the lady who I guess manages the place she got very annoyed and defensive and said you always complain, nobody else complain.

Read morewhat an A...... Normally when I am hungry I never eat anything, what I don't know. But the kitchen at mad dog is very good. And the food is all over fine. Today I got anything, what Thai-Person define different than the rest of the world - but I forgot: Thais never fail. The rest of the world must be stupid, to don't follow the Thai-Definition. I informed the staff, that the food is ok, but wrong. Then any tussy jumped in as "boss" and let me know, that I am the last cockroage and should eat, what they serve. So far ok- thai style.... But all the other staff playing this game, blocked all feedback by ignorance. To the owner of the mad dog: check a little bit, what your...
Read moreMy partner and I visited Mad Dog Pizza on a whim, looking for a satisfying meal after a long day of exploring Chiang Mai. We ordered the super meaty pizza, which came loaded with pepperoni, sausage, bacon, and ham. We were blown away by the flavors and quality of the ingredients. The crust was crispy and cooked to perfection, the sauce was tangy and rich, and the toppings were generously portioned. It was genuinely one of the best pizzas I've ever had.
We enjoyed the pizza so much that we went back to MadDog Pizza the same night to get another one to take back to our room. Yes, it was that good! The staff were friendly and accommodating, and the service was prompt...
