Kiat Niyom (Local Thai Food) — Restaurant in Chiang Mai Province

went here for our new year dinner; expecting it to be a memorable one due to the ratings and reviews; when we arrived the restaurant was pact but had 2 small tables left which could accomodate us. we ordered 7 dishes food took about 15mins -fried chicken (very soggy but taste was edible) -steak (this was a strange one; beef was oily and it was between frozen and medium cooked which left the middle part black) -thai herbs fried chicken (on the saltier side) -minced pork tofu soup (this was ok, not bad) -mushroom tempura (very oily and mushy at the same time no crunch at all no seasoing too) -stir fried vegetable -wok fried instant noodles with salted egg (noodle was soggy and extremely salty)

read and take it in at your discretion, the 5 stars reviews this place has been getting should be paid reviews or unauthentic ones thus; please becareful beforehand. we recently found out from local that this restaurant is relatively new and with having extremely high ratings with over 700reviews...

We came here for dinner and had such a lovely experience. The food was absolutely delicious—every dish we ordered was full of flavor and beautifully prepared. It really felt like a meal made with care, and we enjoyed every bite.

The staff were also wonderful, very nice and genuinely friendly, which made the atmosphere even more welcoming. On top of that, they had live music playing during the evening, which added such a nice touch without being overwhelming. It created the perfect setting for a relaxed dinner, whether you’re with friends, family, or even on a date.

The overall vibe of the place was warm and inviting, making it a spot where you can sit back, enjoy good food, and soak in the ambiance. We left feeling happy and satisfied, already saying we’d love to come back again on...

A bit disappointed. We saw the google review was high so we thought it will be good to give a try at this restaurant but the price was at high side and we realize the google review high chances was due to some discount they offer to their guest if the guest make good reviews. We ordered 3 dishes and 2 of them were the recommended dish. It turns out the 3rd not recommended food seems better. I order the salmon salad because i had once in bangkok but the taste is like only 30% of the one i had in bangkok. It does not give me a wow. The vege was bitter because they fried it.

In terms of ambience and service, yes it was okay. The food is fresh too but is just not nice as shared in google reviews

I will not return to this...
