Affordable, spacious, and conveniently located.
Stayed for three nights, and overall, it was pretty good.
Stayed on the 5th floor, and the view was great. In the morning, you could see the bustling streets and a mountain scenery, while at night, you could enjoy the vibrant city lights below. Having a beer on the balcony in the evening was quite a unique experience.
The hotel decor was tasteful—not overly refined, but for the price, I thought it was excellent. The balcony, bathroom, and wardrobe area were all very spacious. The pantry in this room type even included a sink, spoons, forks, and plates, making it very convenient to bring food back to eat.
The service, however, was lacking. I called to ask for a toothbrush, and the front desk asked me to come down and get it myself 😂. It was my first time experiencing this, but I had read reviews beforehand saying the service was poor, so I was somewhat mentally prepared, haha. We borrowed a bottle opener, and they even told us to return it quickly, which was kind of funny.
I highly recommend the location to friends who enjoy exploring Nimman and drinking coffee. Every corner is filled with European- or Korean-style cafés, all perfect for taking photos.
I saw reviews mentioning that it can get noisy at night. After analyzing, I think it’s the twin bed rooms that are noisier because they face the bars and a busy road. But after 2 a.m., the bars close. If you stay in a double bed room, it faces the hotel pool and isn’t noisy.
The hotel was just starting to decorate for Christmas, which was exciting 🤍
The last picture is of a fluffy white dog living next door to the hotel. It was so adorable, wagging its tail at...
Read moreUnfortunately this hotel disappointed in many ways. First of all we had asked them several times to please move our reservation (one day!) because our flight had been changed but they absolutely refused to do that resulting in the loss of a night there which is just ridiculous (there was availability for the dates in question!). When we did check into the hotel we noticed that it looks way better on the pictures and is very run-down in cerstain areas. But worst of all is all the noise: we were put in a room next to an extremely loud pump (for the hot water we found out later) which turned itself on, then stoped with a big loud „bam“ and turned itself on again roughly 20 seconds later. It was impossible to sleep like that! We asked for another room and were reluctantly shown a room facing the busy street and a loud bar downstairs, not an option! The other alternative was bearable, a room facing away from the street but still AC noise was audible and you could hear every word and step from the hotel corridor. Walkie-Talkies were used by the staff which woke us around 5 in the morning. Cleanliness also needs improvement, there was a lot of dark hair in our room when we went in, mostly in the bathroom. All in all very disappointing especially for the high price that the hotel...
Read moreI had a wonderful stay at Burisiri Hotel in Chiang Mai! From the moment I arrived, the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home. A special shout-out to P’Vee, who went above and beyond in making my stay memorable. He was exceptionally helpful and took the time to recommend fantastic places to visit during my time in Chiang Mai. His suggestions made my trip even more enjoyable!
The hotel itself is beautifully designed with a perfect blend of modern comfort and traditional Thai charm. My room was spacious, clean, and had all the amenities I needed for a relaxing stay. The bed was super comfortable, and the bathroom was spotless with great water pressure.
The location is also fantastic, with easy access to local markets, restaurants, and cultural attractions. I loved being able to explore Chiang Mai while knowing I had a peaceful retreat to come back to at the end of the day. The breakfast options were delicious and offered a good mix of Thai and international dishes.
Overall, I had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend Burisiri Hotel to anyone visiting Chiang Mai. Thanks to P’Vee and the rest of the team, I'll...
