Excellent, nice atmosphere, retro French decor, quiet with jazz music playing softly in the background. The welcome was warm and engaging. The waitress is knowledgeable about the dishes and flavours, she can be a little pushy at times but I think she is so enthusiastic, even has photos of the dishes on her phone to help explain. There is a small selection of nice wines. Thoroughly enjoyed the meal and presentation of each dish, they're all mouth watering. I tried to pay using my Samsung Pay app for my Visa and it wouldn't accept, confounding myself and the staff, which was a little irritating. So have some cash available. Since this restaurant opened many years ago I have visited numerous times and always had an excellent experience. This small and artistically decorated place has a very interesting menu, good wines, very good cooking and pleasant service. I take all my overseas friends here to experience the French influenced cuisine and they are all impressed.
