Bistro Terrace — Restaurant in Chiang Mai Province

The reason why I’m giving them such a low rating is that the owner was very rude when they made a mistake. My wife and I ordered the pineapple fried rice which tasted good but did not look much like the picture and I ordered the fried rice with chicken but there was little to no chicken in the dish. The staff placed an appetizer on our table which we thought was the one we ordered and we ate a couple of them before our server realized it was from another table. We ate the last few pieces because we assumed since they made the mistake that they can’t take the food back? Maybe that’s just an American thing? But then when we got the bill she was saying why did you eat it then??? Very rude when we didn’t know exactly what our appetizer looked like considering the first plate of food that came out looked nothing like the picture. Terrible customer service and not going...

Two people were working in the kitchen while the waitress just sat on a chair whenever she wasn't taking orders or bringing food around. We ended up getting our food and waiting another 15 minutes for them to finally bring out our coffee, except they got the order wrong and got us hot lattes instead of iced. We told them to just pour it into a glass with ice because we just wanted our drinks. We would have finished eating at this point if we didn't stop to wait for our coffee. They decided to make entirely new iced lattes for us instead, which is to be expected usually, but it meant we were waiting an additional 5 minutes.

A family sat next to us also waited for over 45 minutes to get a drink.

Had seen this place was reviewed fairly well and decided to give it a try. Unfortunately, it fell a bit short of expectations.

The mango sticky rice could have been a better serving ratio, as there is not much rice for the two mango halves. Additionally, the coconut “sauce” given was quite thin, as if someone opened a can of coconut milk and put that into a container. A picture on the wall shows a very nice viscous sauce which is obviously a stock photo they have used.

We also had a lemon iced tea that was quite bitter. There was a sweetener at the bottom, but no matter how much you stirred and shook it around it never became a well mixed drink. The positive part of it was at least it...
