I am a regular. More than 4 times per week and for the last 5 or so years. It is my go to venue. Why? - Excellent family run atmosphere with great English speaking skills. They also help me with my Thai. - The food choice spans more than just Thai. The perfect Western cooked breakfast without extra grease. The ingredients are fresh and the owners (Kong and his wife Ping) continually work to improve on their options and food sourcing. He has even taught himself to bake bread—sourdough, wholewheat AND rye! - I think the coffee is way better than most cafes in Chiang Mai. The art of the bean has been learnt here. Choice of blends. - Best rice porridge/congee in Chiang Mai. (between 30 to 60 baht) - The prices are more than affordable. - Weekend Pizza nights transform the decor to an Italian style, complete with homemade sourdough pizzas. - Open sided restaurant for fresh air, but under cover from rain. - Beer and wine in the fridge. - Excellent staff and a devoted family. - Lastly, I have never got sick from food poisoning, whereas I have often felt under the weather elsewhere. If you really need to use the internet, then there is fast fibre optic fed WiFi here. Works great for demanding online web tools. There is a customer toilet, which is kept clean, and there are multiple fans around the restaurant to keep the mosquitoes away, and the customers cool. Oh, and there's HP and Worcestershire sauce for the Brits.

I love coming here for breakfast/lunch! The food is really good and the people there are nice and friendly that I come here several times already. Love the Jok! It goes so well with the sauce they give you. Roast pork is really enoyable (cripsy and has the fattyness you're looking for), the fish and prawns (2 pieces each) are really fresh! The noodle soup was really good and flavourful together with the chewy noodles. I had Tom yum flavour but asked for no spicy, spice level is bearable for someone who takes little spice, worth the sweat! Drinks are always good! Coconut is fresh, orange juice was good and the thai lemon tea was on point as well 💯 Everything here makes me start the day on a good note 😊

I may never eat an American breakfast ever again. This place is HEAVEN. I ordered a small order of pork dumplings, a BBQ pork bun, and a taro bun. As you can see in the photo, the buns are gigantic - and also filled with straight-up deliciousness. I wanted to be a fatty and order one of the cream ones too, but they didn’t have that kind this particular day. I’m sure it’s also delicious. The dumplings come doused in a vinegary, very very slightly sweet sauce, and I was happy to see that there were some kind of vegetables mixed in. Again, heaven. I will be back here many, many times. (Admittedly the coffee is from another place right around the corner; I’m picky about my coffee!)

This was close by our hotel and we have passed by several times of the day and there are always a lot of people. We decided we have to come by for breakfast since they have really good breakfast selection. I had the Ka Pao Moo (stir fry minced pork) with egg and rice. It was delicious and had a kick to it. We also got a noodle soup but found a human hair on it. We informed the staff right away, they apologized and replaced the food with new one. They handled the situation very well and respectfully but it is kind of hard to enjoy the meal after the fact. Nonetheless, good food and good service.

Love the place! Has many varieties to choose from from western to Asian fare. The dishes are delicious and will be back for the pizza which is only available on Friday and Saturday. Update: Came back for pizza on a Friday night. The Lanna sausage pizza was really good, slightly spicy and goes well with the cheese. The crust was thin and fluffy. The caprese salad is one of the best I have taken - authentic and generous in serving! Update: The shop owner is accommodating to allow some small changes to be made to her dishes which is great!

A small but nicely decorated restaurant/café with relaxing atmosphere to have an enjoyable meal. Food is very good at a very reasonable price. There is a very good selection of Thai food as well as some western food (mainly breakfast). Also, they have pizza, but I think only on Friday and Saturday evenings. I have not yet tried the pizza. The staff is very friendly and efficient. You can see how the food is prepared. They also have young coconut (water) and other beverages such as coffee/tea, beer etc.
