I stumbled upon this restaurant by chance, and wow, what an incredible surprise! The taste and quality of the food, combined with the outstanding service, completely blew me away.

We had Om Poo, a traditional northern Thai dish, and it was absolutely superb—so flavorful that we couldn’t stop talking about it. And the best part? The prices are super reasonable! Another standout dish was Jor Pak Kard, which I tried for the first time. Let me just say—it was AMAZING. Definitely a must-try for anyone visiting!

The staff? Absolutely delightful! They spoke traditional northern Thai, which added such an authentic and charming touch. Plus, they were so polite, active, and attentive—it really made the experience unforgettable.

This place gets 5 stars from me in every aspect! I can’t wait to revisit on my next trip. Highly, highly recommend!

I had lunch today at Khoei Chiang Mai - Northern Food, and it was a truly satisfying experience. The restaurant offers authentic Northern Thai cuisine in a cozy, welcoming setting.

I ordered several dishes, including grilled pork neck (kho moo yang), crab roe dip (ong pu), spicy and sour soup (tom saab), and fried chicken with fish sauce. Every dish was full of flavor, perfectly cooked, and well-balanced in taste. The ingredients were fresh, and the seasoning was just right—not too salty or spicy unless you ask for it.

One thing I really appreciated was that the food came out quickly, and the staff were friendly and attentive throughout the meal. Despite how good the food was, the prices were very reasonable—great value for the quality and portion sizes.

They are quite a few places that serve Northern Thai Cuisines, and one of those that will provide you authentic taste of the food is this place. A variety of selection from their menu include 90% of Northern Thai food, even though you may also see something recognized by Thai people from any regions of Thailand. The service is great, and even though the food price is up compared to that in the past it's such a common thing that has happened to all restaurants in town in the past few years. Outside area is great but you might be disturbed by mosquitoes. If your tongues are not familiar with not entire food, do remind the person attending to you that the test should be mild.
