Smoothie Blues — Restaurant in Chiang Mai Province

I have been here several times and in the past years , when we move out from Nimman production at our shop it was far away from our home , yesterday finally we got chance to be together on a normal day in the morning so we decided to pay a visit for their breakfast selection . What a surprise food presentation and portion increase , lovely staff like always , delicious food cook and decorated perfectly our breakfast was just like a brunch , had my favorite egg Benedict , with extra sauce and extra potatoes, my wife a tuna sandwich, my son a amazing banana pancake with a mountain of fresh fruits and yogurt on the side , and finally a chicken quesadilla for my girl , drinks was amazing too lassi with strawberry , nice warm foamy cappuccino , hot chocolate and a Oreo m&ms smoothies . We will be back for more next Sunday ....

I felt very unwelcome here. The staff was not friendly and seemed to be looking at me frequently with contempt, despite my best efforts to be polite, smiling/saying kabkunkah. I asked for thai iced tea and received just iced black Lipton tea, no spices/flavor. Ham and cheese was ok, the whole grain bread was good and nicely toasted but there was only one thin slice of ham for the whole sandwich, couldn't even taste it. At least the tomato I asked for came in nice, thick slices (that made the second star, along with the nice music). Together was 200 thb, which I consider quite expensive for what it was. Will be spending my money elsewhere in the future. Too bad, I was looking forward to eggs benedict but I'd rather try elsewhere than get the stinkeye during...

Every time we go there the service is wonderful, we never have to ask for water or for it to be refilled, they are friendly and kind the food is super yummy and although it might look slightly on the pricey side it is worth every penny when the food arrives (good size portions, fresh and very flavorful) and you leave very happy and satisfied. We recommend Smoothie Blue to anyone, especially since their menu is quite extensive and would likely cater to almost anyone. Go there and you will agree I'm sure. Because it is so good its often full of people so you might need to wait a little but its worth it. You can sit outside and enjoy the weather on the covered patio or go inside for some...
