The Donut Cafe — Restaurant in Chiang Mai Province

Just my opinion nothing more and nothing less. Had my first donuts here.

For 50 baht per donut this is not the best donut for me.

Saint Etoile ( former Yamazaki) at central festival has a regular sugar donut. That taste is really super. The texture is soft and feels ‘moist’. It feels like it melts in your mouth.

So I see the owner gave a reply on my review.

I am surprised that I did spend 200 baht on different donuts at his/her shop and then Had my opinion but he didn’t like it.

Like I said it is just an opinion.

And the reply that I support big companies because i did compare it with Saint Etoile.

I don’t think you should ‘attack’ someone for having an opinion about taste. Taste. I didn’t say service is bad, I didn’t even say the taste is bad. I just said it’s not MY taste.

And don’t worry owner of The Donut cafe. My opinion will not make you loose customers but ‘attacking’ people for having an opinion about taste … May be that could ….

This is more than just a Donut cafe, they have full breakfast available as well! The donuts looked delicious but didn't get to try one because I ordered the huevos rancheros and there was just so much food! The plate came with two large tostada shells topped with beans, chilli, eggs, cheese, tomatoes and avocado. They were great and were exactly what I was looking for, which I was pleasantly surprised to find in Chiang Mai. I also ordered Thai Iced Tea with almond milk, although it was a bit too milky for me. I would come back to try something else here - they have smoothies, other teas and coffees, breakfast sandwiches, and...

Today I had the new eggs Benedict at the Donut Cafe. Very delicious and at a great price, 150 baht. You can choose your meat, ham, bacon or sausage. There donuts are great as well! Update: came back a second time for their new Denver Omelette, fully loaded with bell peppers, onion, cheese and ham and the price is great, only 100baht. And the staff are very kind and sweet. Highly recommend the Donut Cafe.

UPDATE AS OF DECEMBER 10: The prices on the above menu items have increased. The Eggs Benedict are now 200 bath and the Denver Omelette is now 165 baht instead of 100 baht. Perhaps the original prices were just a new...
