We picked the perfect place to gather with our friends from Germany, and At-Ta-Rote did not disappoint! From the moment we walked in, the warm atmosphere and attentive service set the stage for an exceptional dining experience.
The highlight of our meal was “แสร้งว่ากุ้ง” (Saeng Wa Goong), a dish that showcased a creative twist on a traditional Thai recipe. The grilled shrimp and crispy catfish, combined with aromatic herbs like ginger and lemongrass, created a bold and well-balanced flavor that was both refreshing and appetizing. It’s definitely a must-try!
We also ordered a special Mixed Vegetables with Shrimps (❌No Garlics❌), which was perfectly cooked, bringing out the natural sweetness of the vegetables. The Stir-fried Ivy Gourd Leaves with Minced Pork had a lovely homey touch, while the Tamarind Sauce Shrimp delivered a delightful balance of sweet and tangy flavors. The Crab Meat with Chili was another standout dish, featuring generous chunks of crab meat and just the right amount of spice.
To end our meal on a sweet note, we enjoyed Khanom Piak Poon with Green Tea Ice Cream. The rich, slightly chewy texture of the traditional Thai dessert paired beautifully with the creamy, slightly bitter matcha ice cream—a perfect combination!

The Khao Soi Gai is a northan style curry noodle set with chicken. I can't judge its authenticity but it's rich and flavorful and it costs only B185.
There's a 17% VAT+service charge but still I think...

Khao-chae is nice and delicious. Deep fried fish is good (big and crispy). But the spicy salad (yum-kamoei) is under expectation of recommended plate (ingrédients and taste).

Services is quite slow, possibly few staff during Songkran holidays. However staff has good hospitality and...
