We picked the perfect place to gather with our friends from Germany, and At-Ta-Rote did not disappoint! From the moment we walked in, the warm atmosphere and attentive service set the stage for an exceptional dining experience.

The highlight of our meal was “แสร้งว่ากุ้ง” (Saeng Wa Goong), a dish that showcased a creative twist on a traditional Thai recipe. The grilled shrimp and crispy catfish, combined with aromatic herbs like ginger and lemongrass, created a bold and well-balanced flavor that was both refreshing and appetizing. It’s definitely a must-try!

We also ordered a special Mixed Vegetables with Shrimps (❌No Garlics❌), which was perfectly cooked, bringing out the natural sweetness of the vegetables. The Stir-fried Ivy Gourd Leaves with Minced Pork had a lovely homey touch, while the Tamarind Sauce Shrimp delivered a delightful balance of sweet and tangy flavors. The Crab Meat with Chili was another standout dish, featuring generous chunks of crab meat and just the right amount of spice.

To end our meal on a sweet note, we enjoyed Khanom Piak Poon with Green Tea Ice Cream. The rich, slightly chewy texture of the traditional Thai dessert paired beautifully with the creamy, slightly bitter matcha ice cream—a perfect combination!

At-Ta-Rote truly lives up to its name, offering authentic flavors with high-quality ingredients. If you’re looking for a place that captures the essence of Thai cuisine while providing a cozy ambiance, this is the spot. Highly...

What can I say? Food are creative and tasty and yet have that traditional Thai aromas. It's certainly not street food price ranges but reasonably affordable: dinner with 6 dishes and a bottle of wine (at happy hour price) was at 2889 Baht.

A signature appetizer "Pla Hang Tang Mo" is water melon (cut into bite size blocks) covered with dried (and fried) garlic and fish. It's refreshing and I've never had anything like that.

The Khao Soi Gai is a northan style curry noodle set with chicken. I can't judge its authenticity but it's rich and flavorful and it costs only B185.

There's a 17% VAT+service charge but still I think...

Nice food & ambient but not worth to return for 2nd time.

Khao-chae is nice and delicious. Deep fried fish is good (big and crispy). But the spicy salad (yum-kamoei) is under expectation of recommended plate (ingrédients and taste).

Décor and ambient are nice in traditional Thai style during Songkran festival but temperature is too warm during noon time especially tables next to window. The restaurant provides additional fans inside but none for tables next to window due to lack of power outlet.

Services is quite slow, possibly few staff during Songkran holidays. However staff has good hospitality and...

Great place for friends and families. Has parking! The space is well decorated and the place isn't over chilled like most indoor areas in Bangkok. Excellent service. The staff gave great recommendations. Every dish was well seasoned, authentic flavors, the right amount of heat and beautifully presented meal. We had the miang Kham, palmelo salad, jungle curry and fried rice. All were delicious. Finished the meal with coconut banana, which was spot on in terms of flavor, but I feel the banana was a bit too soft for my liking. Their drinks selections are creative and tasty.
