Bar scofflaws — Restaurant in Khlong Tan Nuea Subdistrict

The most disappointing experience ever in Bangkok. Have been to some of the finest bars in the city and never faced such humiliation. Its actually nothing less than a scam. The drinks were average compared to the other speakeasies and when I tendered my credit card to pay I was told they don't accept cards. In a time when street vendors accept credit cards this so called fancy place doesn't believe I'm credit cards. I was made to withdraw cash from an ATM, had to pay commission more than the bill. The waitress doesn't speak English, the bartender was not creative, and when asked for a drink outside of the menu, to my pallette and choice, I was served something from the menu. Discourteous and unhelping. Guess an attempt to save tax. Truly avoid it if you can, there are many more lovely bars in town where the appreciate you being there. Especially avoid if you...

I've always wanted to try this place for a while so I give it a chance. The service from bartenders were terrible with her 'looking down' on customers attitude. I tried to ask questions about the drink and the server doesn't have an answer so he has to walk back and forth to ask the bartender. I dont mind the server but the bartender gives me a look whenever I ask questions. I was just trying to have a good night with a good drink in the bar. The service is 1/10. The house rule is that one must come before 21.30 to get the table. Our group was the one that had arrived on time and there were spaces for 3 right next to us.

After 21.30, there was no one came to occupy the space so I told my friends to join. Then, when my friend came the service lady told my friend not to enter since the space was occupied.

Well, I would not recommend anyone the place. Average bar. Average drink. A service that looks down on you when...
