Listen to Bangkok this is a hidden gem. Iâm obsessed with Mexican food and itâs very difficult to find anything really prepared well in Bangkok that reminds me of Mexico. This place nailed it. I couldnât believe I havenât heard about this place and itâs been open for 10 years. Every time I always search best Mexican food in Bangkok this isnât Shown it first, but when you scroll down, you can find it. Hopefully this review will put it close to the top because it deserves it.
The atmosphere reminds me of Mexico itâs quaint and cute with a lot of Mexican culture vibes. The owner is from Mexico and was very cool. I ordered the chicken nachos, which has no is not an authentic Mexican dish, but Iâm obsessed with nachos and it was stellar. Itâs the first time Iâve had pickled jalapeños on my nachos and back, and Iâve had dozens of orders from different places.. The Al Pastor tacos were delicious. Now, of course itâs not the same as the streets of Mexico City, but itâs good. Iâm already excited to go back again.
I also love that itâs sort of hidden on the side street, so it has its own super cool atmosphere. The tequila and Mezcal list was one of the best that Iâve seen in all of Bangkok.
This place made my Sunday amazing and...
Read moreColourful restaurant living up to the colourful Mejican tradition. While I enjoyed the visual colours, the food had much more to desire. I ordered the lamb tacos which were rather plain, consisting only of the corn taco shell, white raw onions and a sprinkle of coriander. While the nest was tasty, overall as a fish it felt incomplete. Friends ordered the shrimp and fish tacos and those came with vegetables, and a few other toppings, making it very tasty and sldo much more appealing visually. For drinks I ordered a virgin mojito which again the flavours of the lime and mint weren't there, it came without sugar and I had to ask for sugar syrup. I also ordered the homemade lemonade, nothing stood out from this drink either.
The service was OK, pleasant, but not attentive or very hospitable. To top my experience, I was charged 250B for the tasteless virgin mojito, pretty much the same price as the cocktail, which goes I think fir 280B. I guess the rum used for the drinks is very cheap if the difference was only 30B. At that point I just wanted to go and so didn't complain on this. But I highly recommend if you don't drink alcohol, don't order a mocktail, just ho for a lemonade or juice. I'm not sure I would go back to this...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at Los Danzantes in Bangkok, and it was an unforgettable experience. This restaurant offers a full array of authentic Mexican cuisine, crafted with care and tradition. The owner, who is Mexican, is incredibly hospitable and truly passionate about sharing his culture.
I visited alone for dinner, and it felt like I was transported straight to Mexico. The owner played some of the best Mexican songs, creating a wonderful atmosphere. We spent two hours talking about Mexico and its rich culture, which made the experience even more special.
For the first time, I tried a Michelada, and I loved it! The flavors were unique and refreshing. The restaurant itself is a quiet and cozy place, perfect for a relaxed meal alone, with friends, or even with family.
Located just a 5-minute walk from Ekkamai BTS station, itâs easy to find. The prices are very reasonable, especially for the high quality and authenticity of the food. Honestly, I believe this is probably the most authentic Mexican restaurant in Bangkok.
If youâre craving real Mexican flavors, come and experience it yourself. You wonât be...
