CHUNN — Restaurant in Khlong Tan Nuea Subdistrict

Recieved a rather bad reception and service by one particular waitress - won't be listing how rude she was. Let's just say she should not be in this industry. The rest of the staff seems nice though but we didn't get the opportunity to be served by them. The salad was less than mediocre and rather overpriced. Beef was ok in comparison to the pricing but the place should not be calling itself a steakhouse when the staff forgot to ask the customer how they like their meat cooked (for the ribeye). The rest of the food is alright but I think the four of us were already put off by that particular staff's "reception"; she did make us feel like we were there to beg for food.

Overall atmosphere is a bit too dark and gloomy (not in a "hip" way - if that's what you're thinking) for my liking.

Really wanted to like this place— went the first time and it was closed due to new years, okay no problem. Came back on our last day in BKK and was so disappointed. Came here on a Friday evening to try out the food at this restaurant. The experience at the restaurant was terrible. Service staff were more interested to chat among themselves instead of attending to customer. Ordered Stirloin steak, CHUNN beef soup and truffle mash potato. The truffle mash potato didn’t arrive and service staff claimed we didn’t order. CHUNN beef soup was terribly sweet and I find it surprising that my Asahi beer tasted sweet as well.
