Kakurega Shizuku — Restaurant in Khlong Tan Subdistrict

Living in the neighborhood and while passing thought always seeing a lot of Japanese guest so we assume this is a good place. We visited here about two weeks ago while the service was a little slow and the skewer set of 10 only came in 9 ( but after telling the staff, she quickly replaced one), the overall experience is not too bad so we decided to give it a try again Knowing its an busy place we made a reservation in advance for 7pm but we still end up waiting a bit when we arrive. We quickly placed our order but by8:10, all we got is the salad. While we approached the staff we were told that it’s busy today and many people order simile food. However, that’s not good enough of an explanation why table that came and ordered after us go the food before us! One of the item I ordered was never delivered and I didn’t bother to ask anymore because I don’t want to wait any more for food. Even for desert taking long to be served and the crepe cake is frozen!! With plenty of similar choice in the neighborhood, I doubt I would ever...

*Hands down one of the best Japanese meals I've had in a long time. Not fancy to look at, Kakurega Shizuku proves an old proverb....." You Can't Judge a Book by its Cover.....the food at KS was top notch tasty!!!! I ordered 5 dishes, and all were delicious. My favorites , if I had to choose, were the eel and the sea bream. The menu is super extensive and varied. Even the carbonara pizza was exceptional!!! The atmosphere is private. Dining is done in private rooms. Very cozy and personal. Service was great....attentive and friendly. Handicap ♿️ doable and recommended Restrooms 🚻 available. Prices higher than usual, but well worth it. Final take.....highly recommended 👌 👍 👏 I would eat here again and again, but I'm unfortunately leaving Bangkok today. But ......there's always next Bangkok...
