I visited Tribe Sky Rooftop Bar recently and had a frustrating experience due to misleading information from the staff. Upon arrival, we asked the hostess if any tables or sofas were available. She said no, and told us we needed to buy tickets for 600 THB per person, which included one drink.

Once inside, we found an available high table and sat there. About 20 minutes later, a waitress informed us there was a minimum spend of 2,000 THB to sit at the table. I explained that the hostess specifically told us there were no tables and led us to believe tickets were our only option, which was clearly not the case.

The waitress initially allowed us to stay, but then returned 10 minutes later and claimed the table was now "reserved"—right after telling us we could keep it if we met the minimum spend. This bait-and-switch behavior felt dishonest and disrespectful. It’s unfortunate because the venue itself is nice, but the lack of transparency and professionalism ruined the experience. I won’t be returning.

Unfortunately, the reply completely misses the point of my complaint—or worse, deliberately sidesteps it.

We fully understood that a 600 THB day pass includes only general admission and no guaranteed table. That’s not the issue.

The problem is that when we arrived, we asked the hostess specifically if any tables were available with minimum spend, and she told us no tables were available at all. Based on her answer, we bought the tickets. Once inside, we found an empty high table and sat. Only 20 minutes later, a waitress told us we could keep the table if we committed to a 2,000 THB minimum spend—completely contradicting what the hostess had said. Then, 10 minutes later, that same waitress suddenly said the table was now “reserved,” right after giving us the option to stay with a minimum spend.

So to be clear: – We were misinformed at the entrance, which directly affected our decision. – We were offered the table after we were already seated. – Then we were pushed off the table shortly after being told we could stay with a minimum spend.

This is not a case of misunderstanding general policies—it’s a case of being misled and shuffled around, with inconsistent and unprofessional communication from the staff. The experience felt disorganized at best and dishonest at worst.

An absolute gem in the sky. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience and serve here. The ambience was great and the music even better.

We got there just before 11h00 ,which is opening time and we're given the opportunity to go around and see what best seating options would suit us. I mean we were the 1st customer's, so I felt I got a VIP service 😁.

We literally got the perfect opportunity to have a picture moment because the venue itself screams , " Strike a Pose".

We got the perfect spot eventually, I mean we had so much choice. Great drinks and a thorough explanation from our waiter on options. There's a digitized menu, just scan QR code and you get to choose your choice.

We ordered our food, got served drinks and the music choice from the DJ reminded us of home, South Africa. Imagine eating and bopping your head the entire time, well that was us, and we did it with grace.

The experience of a great dining. A vibes place and globally encompassing music make this establishment tops. I'm definitely a returning "Tribester" ☺️.

I heard the vibe is even more epic in the evening. I'll be back next time with my bikini and dancing shoes, with my vibe check in place.

PRICE : When there are special events, off course , the minimum spend table seating is applied because of the high demand.

RESERVATIONS : Available via Facebook, bit walk-in accepted. Rather book when there's a special event to avoid disappointment.

FOOD : Light food and snacks menu.

DRINKS : They keep them flowing like the water 🍸 and Poolside bar available

DRESSCODE : Chilled vibes , there's a pool so it's Bikini season all time. Lockers and towels are also offered...I mean talk about convenience.

Clearly my experience was phenomenal. I loved it. My Globetrotter feet loved it. No application needed with me. I'm joining the TRIBE. Their Vibe check is in the Skies, highly recommended.
