I went Sunday 01/09/2024 eve @ 19::45 with a group of friends and family, around 22 of us. The staff gave us a very good table and catered us very well. The Dara singh LASSI is very very refreshing (Pint of Lassi) .i drunk this kind of lassi when I am in Punjab last time 2022. The ambience was very enjoyable & touchable as the restaurant was packed inside and out door and even in upstairs VIP rooms and very engaging to see so many different cultures of people enjoying Indian food in the heart of Sukhumvit. I believe the restaurant attracts a lot of tourists and locals because of the vibrant interior and location. The starters were absolutely amazing and the service was quite fast too. We all literally inhaled the starters because they were so delicious. Overall the main course was very delicious, and the flavours were very good. We have eaten at a lot of Indian restaurants but this felt like a unique experience because the staff treated us very well and the ambience is very inviting. The have live Punjabi singer from India who make our dinner memorable with playing dhol , All us us dance a lot and feel like we are in India celebrating Punjabi weeding , I haven’t found this kind of big Punjabi theme any Indian restaurants in Bangkok. The restaurant also has a good parking space which makes it easier to come with families and friends. Really appreciate good quality food in the heart of Sukhumvit soi 11 ,I Would 100% recommend this unique restaurant to all my friends and visitors in Bangkok. I have been all nearby Indian restaurants (A,B.CC, P G ) , But it’s not in my sabhyachaar/ ethics to indicate any competitors name other wise it’s conflict of interest , HAVELI bangkok is superb good and the management and team it’s doing it’s best , it’s real first Punjabi restaurant in Bangkok who serve not only food but hospitality also from heart , One more thing they have FREE parking for everyone which no any Indian restaurant is offering, in Bangkok, we should appreciate this also , The best thing they offer is very SPECIAL inaugural discount which I haven’t found any Indian restaurants do . As a good & kind human , and what I have learned in Thailand culture , We should encourage the new venture ,who is trying to bring in Bangkok our Indian Punjabi culture and good hygiene food for everyone and we should support them , not feel jealous , be happy 😊

Read moreWe recently visited Haveli Indian Restaurant and had an overall great experience. Right at the beginning, we were pleasantly surprised by a complimentary appetizer — small pieces of crispy bread served with a selection of delicious sauces. Mixing and matching them was fun and very tasty.
For starters, we had Pani Puri, which was beautifully presented and full of flavor. The balance between the spicy water and the filling was just right. The chicken samosa was good too, though I’ve had slightly better ones elsewhere — still worth trying. We also had a dish made of crispy dough slices with onions and spices (unfortunately I forgot the name), which was flavorful and well-seasoned.
As for the mains, the chicken in white sauce with cheese was a highlight. I don’t remember the exact name, but the chicken was tender, rich in flavor, and had a nice smoky aroma, possibly from the tandoor. The butter chicken was served over a tea light, which kept it warm the whole time. The sauce was creamy, the chicken was soft, and the taste was very well-balanced.
The garlic naan was large and slightly crispier than expected — but in a good way. Lastly, the mango lassi was sweet, refreshing, and delicious.
One small issue: when we called in advance to ask about parking, the staff had a hard time understanding us. But at the restaurant, everyone was very friendly and helpful. We felt welcome and comfortable.
Would definitely recommend trying this place if you’re looking for good Indian food and a...
Read moreThe food was delicious. The Butter Chicken Marsala was phenomenal. My food was to go though and the presentation/packaging could be better. The naan was squished inside of aluminum foil so by the time I got home it was all stuck together and the tops of the naan were starting to peal apart because they continued to cook from the heat. The aluminum foil does keep it warm however, I'd suggest they lay them differently. It didn't change the taste, but it did change the texture.
One problem I did run in to with the service was I had to sit there waiting on my food after I received the notification my food was ready. The kitchen staff did not bring the food out and the manager, front perceptionist and waiter were all handling the same customer at the front desk. I had to stand up and let them know my food was ready. They didn't need three people handling one customer.
When picking up my food I noticed how large the space was, everything from the entrance to the dining area. Different than most places around Bangkok. The atmosphere seemed like it would be nice. I'd come back here to eat inside one day for the experience.
Overall, I think the place was good and with a few improvements,...
