Overall, there were both positive and negative aspects of my experience, which I would like to address.
Pros:
The front desk staff were accommodating in fulfilling my request for a connecting room, as I was traveling with an elderly person using a wheelchair. Their assistance in arranging this was greatly valued and made our stay more comfortable. The check-in process was remarkably efficient, thanks to the swift assistance provided by the front desk. From the moment I arrived, I was guided through the check-in procedure with remarkable speed and professionalism. The staff member handling my check-in was attentive to my needs and ensured that all necessary documentation was processed promptly. Housekeeping did an excellent job. The hotel room was sparkling clean, and the bedsheets, blankets, and towels had a clean smell that reassured me of their cleanliness. I would like to commend the front desk for their prompt action in addressing issues with the room. When I reported a cigarette smell in the room, they immediately sent someone to freshen it up, and followed up with a call to ensure the issue had been resolved satisfactorily. Similarly, maintenance issues such as a choked toilet and a malfunctioning toilet door were promptly rectified within minutes of my reporting them. Following my feedback regarding the centralized heater issue, the front desk reached out to apologize the next day. They offered a complimentary breakfast or a late check-out as a kind gesture, acknowledging the inconvenience caused. Although I declined the offer, I appreciated their swift response and thoughtful gesture, which underscored their dedication to guest satisfaction.
Cons:
While the front desk staff were generally friendly, I observed inconsistency in the level of service provided. There were instances, such as when I needed assistance with in-room dining, where I felt the service fell short. Instead of redirecting my call to the restaurant, I was simply provided with the number to call myself. This lack of proactive assistance was disappointing and did not meet my expectations. I was disappointed to discover that the centralized heater was under maintenance during the second and third days of my stay. This inconvenience could have been mitigated if guests had been informed in advance. I suggest that the hotel consider placing notices near the lifts or slipping a notice under guests’ room doors to inform them of such maintenance activities in the future. While the front desk promptly fulfilled my request for bottles of water to be sent to the room, it took about half an hour or more for them to arrive. While I understand that the staff may have been busy, it would have been helpful to receive a call informing me of the delay. Managing guest expectations in this way would enhance the overall experience. The bell boy, as guests’ first interaction with the hotel, significantly influences their perception. Despite performing his duties, there was a lack of genuine care, especially for older guests. His offer to help with our bags felt obligatory, lacking empathy. After declining assistance, A more attentive approach, such as suggesting alternative assistance options or holding the elevator, would have shown a commitment to exceptional service. He could have offered to guide us to the room, ensure we settled in comfortably. Unfortunately, he returned to his original spot which is outside the hotel without further help. Staff should prioritize kindness, particularly as the initial face of the hotel. There are many bars in the area, and despite being on the fifth floor, there was no soundproofing in the room. The music and noise from vehicles could be heard until after 3 am. Families with children or elderly guests may want to reconsider staying here.

From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the cleanliness of the place. One of the highlights of my stay was interacting with the front office lady, Neo. She was incredibly friendly and accommodating, making me feel welcomed and valued as a guest. Her warm and helpful nature added an extra touch of hospitality to my stay.
I was also pleasantly surprised by the early check-in option provided by the hotel. It was a relief to be able to settle into my room and start exploring the city without any delays. Additionally, the breakfast served at Citrus Hotel was quite good. While the menu remained the same every day, the food was delicious and satisfying.
Speaking of the rooms, I found them to be exceptionally clean and well-maintained. The attention to detail in the housekeeping was evident, and it made my stay even more comfortable. The room provided a cozy atmosphere, and I felt relaxed and at ease throughout my stay.
One of the highlights of the hotel is the cozy cafe located on the premises. It's a perfect place to unwind and enjoy a cup of coffee or a light snack. The convenience of having such a facility within the hotel added to the overall pleasant experience.
Another notable aspect of Citrus Hotel is its location. The hotel is situated conveniently close to the Nana BTS station, making it easy to navigate the city and explore various attractions. This convenience was a major plus point for me, as it saved me a lot of time and effort during my stay.
Considering the bustling Sukhumvit Lane, Citrus Hotel manages to provide a very decent experience. The hotel's location and amenities make it a great choice for both business and leisure travelers. During my stay, I had the opportunity to check out their rooftop, and I was treated to a stunning view. It's definitely worth taking the time to visit and enjoy the panoramic scenery.
In conclusion, I highly recommend Citrus Hotel for its cleanliness, friendly staff like Neo, early check-in option, good breakfast, clean and cozy rooms, convenient location near Nana BTS, and the beautiful rooftop view.
