THE COFFEE CLUB - Holiday Inn Sukhumvit Soi 11 — Restaurant in Khlong Toei Nuea Subdistrict

The service and service attendants and attitude is terrible; the servants aren’t attentive, their English is very poor for a foreign tourist heavily visited area, and they don’t serve items on the menu (for example wine) because they don’t have the bottle opener or don’t know where it’s kept. There are more back counter employees than table servers but they are inefficient. The place is clearly poorly managed and run. It’s not the only branch that’s terrible; the one near Park Plaza Sukhumvit 18 is another disappointment. I bought a cup of coffee in a paper cup to carry on my Grab ride but I had to ask the captain to stop at the nearest street trash bin to dispose of it because it leaked all over the car floor, let alone the poor welcome and service attitude. I felt that I had to beg to place an order! Going back to the branch at Holiday Inn Express Sukhumvit 11, it is diluting the good hotel standard when compared with the hotel run Bang Bang outlet just outside the hotel entrance which is probably one of the best F&B outlets I enjoy visiting...

Even with so many good options around Soi 11, I came back to the Soi 11 branch of the Coffee Club a number of times. The Thailand management of this Australian chain have made great menu choices to align it with local cuisine. My pick of the dishes are the Banoffe Cake and Chocolate Lava which are well worth the repeated visit for their taste, quality and presentation.

As for this particular branch, the location is good - convenient to Soi 11 without being in the thick of it, yet still plenty of foot traffic to people watch if that's your thing. The seating options are also quite nicely varied with the two outdoor sections, and then a variety of seating types inside too. At the time I visited, the employed staff were attentive and friendly, although the customer turnover is high so even if they are usually watching the floor well, service delays do happen but well within expectation for an active venue.

I'll be back for more dessert, as well as the Beyond Meat burgers next time I'm staying...

I would go beyond the limit and give the Coffee Club@Sukhumvit Soi 11 a 5 Stars Ratings. I do agree to a certain extend with other reviewers that they are under-staff and the food takes a little slow to come but after going to a few the Coffee Club chains, these crew are hardworking to deliver the best they can. My family and I had the most fabulous time in this Coffee Club.

First of all, the staff was really friendly, most of all very attentive and professional. We were showed to our table the moment we walk in. The place were very crowded, yet, we were given our menus and orders were taken really quickly. In terms of service, this Coffee Club in my opinion is the best I had compared to the others I've been to. Keep up the good work!

The food was superb and quite surprisingly the congee (Thai: joke; Chinese:粥) they serving were smooth and delicious. I had Eggs Benedict with Smoke Salmon and it was done just right.

I'm definitely coming back again to...
