The pizza is decent and NY style enough but by the slice is wayyyy overpriced. The full pizzas are a bit expensive but per slice is outrageous. I would not pay that much again. 150 gets you a small slice. For that price I would expect it to be double the size. By the slice is a total ripoff. A slice of pepperoni is 150 but a whole pizza is 750. The pizza is 8 slices I believe so It should not cost more than 100 for a slice. At 150 a slice you would be paying 1200 for a full pizza by the slice, which is 60% more. Even if it was a 6-slice pizza, that's still only 125/slice for what would be a larger slice. They might say they charge for the service of providing it by the slice but a 50 baht surcharge is ridiculous. On top of that, they don't use real American pepperoni. It's close but it's not the real deal. If you want as close as you can get to a real deal American pepperoni pizza, order from Pizza Mania. Maybe I'd order a whole pizza from Soho in the future if friends wanted to share, but I won't be going back for a slice. It's one of the few foods in Bangkok where I don't feel like I got my money's worth. Especially when some Italian style pizza places sell an entire wood fired...
Read moreAfter hearing highly of this place I was excited to try. I travelled across the city to enjoy this treat.
The pizza was delicious but unfortunately I had to endure over 15 minutes of negotiating to get the pizza I wanted so the taste was tainted and not fully enjoyable.
The Goat with chicken as I don't eat pork. Impossible I was told at first. The server said she did not have an option on her system to add chicken. I then suggested ordering the chicken pizza and adding the other items which she also said she could not do. By the way I had no issue paying an additional fee but it was not even an option.
Server called the manager on the phone and I had to get help from the lovely lady working at "Cantina Italian Kitchen' next door. It turns out that they share the same kitchen and pizza menu.
So basically my advice would be to next time enjoy the pizza with proper service next door. There is a service charge of an additional 10% + 7% Vat to sit down at Cantina but it looks like a lovely place and worth it considering there is 0 common sense service at Soho.
Also soda water served in a bottle - not even a plastic...
Read moreDecided to give Soho another try and ordered the Hawaiian. The pizza was cooked better this time but it just tasted subpar and very boring, and it didn't look like the pictures at all. The pineapple was not sweet, the ham not salty, and I don't know why they put green onions ... everything just kinda lacked flavor and felt one dimensional. They need to add some salty bacon, some 🌶...something to give more flavor. In the photo on grab the pizza had lots of bacon and the pineapple looked deep yellow and sweet...wish I had received that. ...... Ordered the 15" G.O.A.T pizza off Grab as they had a pretty good deal. I have to say that they do put alot of ingredients on the pizza, but they need to spread it out a bit more on the side and not all in the middle. The pizza tasted ok but the sourdough crust was a little too thick and lacked flavor. The pizza could also be baked just a little bit longer to give it more color and caramelize the...
