Ponn at Terminal 21 Asoke is a gem for anyone looking to enjoy delicious Thai food in a convenient location. Whether you’re a tourist exploring Bangkok or a local looking for reliable flavors, Ponn won’t disappoint. Don’t miss the Panang Moo Toon—it’s easily one of the best dishes on the menu!
What We Ordered Som Tum Thai (Papaya Salad) This classic Thai dish delivers the perfect balance of sweet, sour, salty, and spicy. The crunchiness of the green papaya paired with the tangy dressing is a refreshing way to start your meal. Pad Pak Boong (Stir-Fried Morning Glory) A simple yet flavorful dish, the morning glory is stir-fried with garlic and chili for a smoky and aromatic experience. A great option for those who want a light and savory side. Pad Kra Pao Moo Sub (Stir-Fried Minced Pork with Holy Basil) A quintessential Thai favorite, this dish packs a punch with its spicy, garlicky, and herbaceous flavors. Pair it with jasmine rice and an egg for the ultimate comfort meal. Panang Moo Toon (Braised Pork Panang Curry) [Highly Recommended] The star of the meal, this dish features tender, slow-cooked pork bathed in a rich and creamy Panang curry sauce. The flavors are deep, aromatic, and slightly sweet, making it a must-try for...

My top recommendations are the Deep Fried Shrimp Cake, Pad Kra Pao, and Pork Neck Grill. The Shrimp Cake is incredibly yummy, crispy, flavorful, and perfect as a snack. The Pork Neck Grill has a smoky aroma and comes with two delicious dipping sauces, one with red chili, green chili and garlic adding a great kick. I even paired the sauce with the Shrimp Cake, and it was amazing.
They also serve Mama Tom Yum Seafood Soup with noodles, but it’s on the saltier side. If you prefer a milder taste, you can request them to adjust it.
For drinks, we ordered Thai Milk Tea, and it was amazingly good. They use high-quality tea, and when we requested less sweetness, they delivered exactly what we expected, Definitely worth trying.
The prices are slightly on the higher side, but the bold flavors and quality make it worth it. Plus, the service is excellent, the waiters are attentive...

For my second meal, I went with a fragrant but mild rice dish, topped with a grilled fish (Mackeral?), that you eat together with fresh vegetables and a pungent and spicy fermented fish paste. Again, the balance between super strong flavours (fish paste) and neutral (raw vegetables and rice)...
