Stayed three nights Staff were amazing in arranging a room for the mother in law and our kids The check in ladies were amazing to be honest. We had a fully prepped baby cot up to our room in ten minutes We had previously stayed at a next door hotel that also joins Asoke sky rail and Terminal 21. Twice the price and half the service delivery of Solaria. The Solaria has the best toilets on Sukhumvit. The Pool is to cold and the gym has five pieces of equipment. But the gym has an amazing view. I was perturbed when I walked up the stairs and looked at the generic treadmills. But a day later with an 8 hour flight pending I thought lets go stretch The view from the Gym is an amazing 270 degree view of the Bangkok Cityscape. Being in the epicentre of Bangkok on the 27th floor and taking in the view made this workout special. So I tell you Solaria I know your after the Japan market but hey lets be inclusive.... Get some decent coffee and tell the Western customer about the Japan slant on the breakfast. Notice to the GM reading this .... it will cost you minimal to bump the breakfast and get some coffee
But But The breakfast is definitely not four star This is a Japanese style hotel with a Japanese breakfast We opted for the Western breakfast but this is still very basic. Imagine a 200 baht breakfast sausage and eggs with really average coffee. Can I suggest Solaria that you try to get the coffee sorted out. As a Marketing executive with twenty years in the coffee industry Please lets work on some good basics. Notice to the GM reading this .... it will cost you minimal to bump the breakfast and get some decent coffee. Overall a very good hotel with great staff The service delivery from the staff was 5 star...

I recently stayed at Solaria Nishitetsu Bangkok and had such a fantastic experience that I’m giving it a solid 5 stars across the board.
A day before my trip, I encountered a hiccup — my original booking through Agoda was unexpectedly cancelled. It was quite stressful, but the hotel’s reservation team was amazing. They answered my call promptly, helped me rebook the room over the phone, and even followed up with a confirmation email so I could travel with peace of mind. That kind of responsive and reassuring service really stood out to me.
Upon arrival, everything was smooth and efficient — from check-in to the overall stay. All the staff spoke fluent English, were warm, professional, and always ready to help. The hotel felt very welcoming, with a calm and peaceful vibe despite being right in the heart of Asok. The location is excellent — close to transport, food, and shopping, yet the rooms remained quiet and relaxing.
The room itself was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed. Housekeeping did a great job each day, and the amenities were well-stocked and high quality. I also appreciated the modern yet cozy interior of the hotel — stylish, but still very comfortable to unwind in after a day out in Bangkok.
And of course, I have to mention one of my favorite parts — I couldn’t resist buying their adorable bear merchandise at the hotel. It’s such a unique and charming touch, and now I have a little reminder of this lovely trip to take home with me!
Thank you to the whole team at Solaria Nishitetsu Bangkok for making my stay so enjoyable and stress-free. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a clean, well-located, and service-oriented hotel in Bangkok. I’ll definitely...
Read moreI stayed at this hotel for 13 nights in October/November 2022. It is a very good four star hotel, just opened in 2020, in a perfect location - if you are looking for a hotel in downtown Bangkok. There is a direct access from the lobby on the 3rd floor to the intersection of the BTS (SkyTrain - Asok station) with MRT (subway - Sukhumvit station) - wonderful!
The hotel is very clean and safe and all staff are extremely polite and courteous. Good facilities, fine stoneware or laminate floors in the rooms - much better than poorly cleanable carpet. The super Toto high-tech toilets (with pre-heated seats, odor-extraction, automatic-mist-pre-spray, warm-water-flush and subsequent warm-air-dryer from Toto) are really top notch :) Unfortunately, however, there are hardly any storage options for clothing. There is no closet, and the existing storage compartments are largely "occupied" by the refrigerator, utensils for tea and coffee, and the safe. Ultimately, only a small drawer remains in which you can put your clothes, which is simply too little for longer stays. A closet with storage space would be good, especially if you stay more than 2-3 nights.
Nice design (Japanese hotel group). The pool area and the bar on the 27th floor with a view over the city are a dream.
A little setback is WiFi. You have to log in with your room number and a letter code every time you change location and every day. The automatic connection seems to be turned off. Logging in multiple times a day with multiple devices (PC/Pad/Mobile) is a waste of time. But that would be easy to fix. I'm curious if this will be fixed by my next visit.
Supplement: In February 2023 we stayed a second time at the Solaria (4 nights). The WiFi works fine now/is fixed. Thanks, and see you next...
