Read moreWe recently had the chance to dine at Baan Ying in Bangkok, and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. The atmosphere strikes a perfect balance between modern and homey, making it a comfortable spot to enjoy classic Thai dishes.
We ordered the Pad Thai with chicken and a Thai iced tea, and both were fantastic. The Pad Thai had a great balance of sweet, tangy, and savory flavors, with perfectly cooked noodles and tender pieces of chicken. The portion size was generous without being overwhelming. What really stood out was the freshness of the ingredients and the depth of flavor in the sauce – it didn’t taste overly commercial or overly sweet like some touristy spots.
The Thai iced tea was rich, creamy, and just the right level of sweetness. It paired perfectly with the Pad Thai and helped cool us down from the Bangkok heat.
Overall, Baan Ying delivers a satisfying, authentic Thai meal in a welcoming setting. Whether you’re a local or a visitor, it’s worth stopping by for a reliable and...

The spicy yellow curry soup with fish and coconut meat is pretty spicy and the dish tasted pretty similar to the Southern version. Vegetable dishes here are not oily and they are young leaves.
2nd time on 25/06/24 Sour plum soup with minced pork and shrimp is a must try. Stir-fry shrimp with Shanghai style sauce is 1 of the neutral tasted dishes to have (not too spicy, not too sour..) to make balance to the meal
