We came to the restaurant a bit late almost their closing time, but we were still treated with superb service. Authentic Thai food, especially the deep fried sea bass in curry, it was amazingly delicious. I think we ordered a bit too much for 2 people. We didn’t know the portions were big, so we ordered 3 dishes and mango with sticky rice. Price was reasonable. Service was excellent. They treat you like family, I never seen any restaurant provide such great customer service. If you’re dining outside at night time, make sure you wear long sleeve or mosquito repeller tho. If not, they have 😊. Thanks for the great dining experience in Thailand. Will come back and try other dishes when we are in...
Read moreWe have lived on Soi 16 for the past two years and have had the pleasure of eating at Baan Thai Suk 16 many times. This is our 'go-to' restaurant whenever we have visitors in town or friends who want to enjoy an authentic Thai meal. Service was top-notch. It strongly seemed to be the case that the owners, a family, is running the place. The most subjective point to judge for sure is location. For me as someone coming from a calm Italian town, Bangkok's center is overcrowded, while its suburbs get dirty and empty soon. The restaurant is about 10 walking minutes outside the "high roads", thus combining a bit the pro's and con's...
