We stayed at the Gardina hotel for one week in October 2025. we were very impressed overall and would happily reccomend this hotel to anyone looking for a great place to stay. |The hotel is clean, presentable and well maintained. The room we stayed in was very comfortable and had great facilities. The room contained a sperate kitchen/eating area and bathroom. The shower (which is my must rate) was very good. The pressure was amazing and the water was hot without any delay. |The staff were at all times helpful and seemed to have a good grasp of english which was a big plus for us. |The hotel has a great small gym and a steam room. The pool is top notch and kept very clean. There is a jacuzzi/spa attached which is great for those times you want to relax. The pool was not busy which was a plus. I would love to see the hotel embrace the pool more and offer poolside eating/drinking as the staff in the attached restaraunt seemed to be quiet at times of the day and this could be a valuable way to increase sales and give the staff something to do. Sitting by the pool with a snack and a drink is a great way to relax and the fact the hotel does not allow this seems like a missed oppoutubnity. |The rooms require a key to keep the air con on when you leave the room, this can be an issue as they only give u one key per person and you need that key to use the elevator to go up or down (you can not even go to the lobby without the key). My partner and I at times travelled around BKK seperatly and we had to conridinate re the key so we could ensure the room stayed cool for our return (needing to leave key in the holder and the trick of using another card does not work, u must use the room key to do it) |The hotel location is quite isolated, but the hotel offers a free tuk tuk until midnight evrey day which can take you to the local MRT station or to the top of the road where there is ample shopping and a a BTS Station close by. |Overall we were super impressed with the hotel and would not hesitate to...
Read moreGreat new hotel. Large comfortable room, everything top of the line. Pleasant and helpful staff. Lovely landscaped garden with a peaceful, shaded pool and Jacuzzi - very relaxing after a day of sightseeing. Very good, and uncrowded, exercise room. Good restaurant for western or Thai food, with an outdoor terrace that is very pleasant for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Great location on Soi 16- a short 12 minute walks to Asoke BTS (skytrain) / Sukumvit MRT (subway). Just far enough from Sukumvit to be a little calmer and relaxed. Also the hotel runs a free electric tuk-tuk shuttle from the hotel to the BTS / MRT station. Best way to get around Bangkok is the BTS and MRT, so having direct access to both makes this hotel an ideal location. At Asoke intersection (BTS station) there’s very popular Terminal 21 mall with shops, restaurants and a great Thai food hall on the 5th floor; full service Citibank, ATM’s and money exchanges, etc.
Soi 16 has many good restaurants, coffee shops, and bars. There is a 24 hour Foodland supermarket 5 minutes walk from the hotel, with a very good 24 hour restaurant for Thai or Western food with very reasonable prices. Also Soi 16 gets a big local weekday lunch crowd, so many street vendors at lunch. Across from Foodland an alley leads to a huge lunch market (just follow everybody). Big shaded area with dozens of food vendors and some clothes and other stuff, some seating in the back. Like a night market, a lot of fun and good food for lunch. Behind Foodland, across the overpass bridge over the big road, Ratchadaphisek, there’s beautiful Benjakitti Park (the biggest public park in Bangkok) for walking, running or biking. The 2 km running path encircles a big pond. Inside the park there’s an extensive skywalk over the wetlands for running and walking.
Great location to explore...
Read moreWhat a delightful hotel! The rooms are spacious, the beds are comfortable, and the bathroom is luxurious. Everything is spotlessly clean.
The entire hotel is tastefully decorated in a subtle style and has a calm, peaceful atmosphere. Above all, the staff are incredibly friendly and service-oriented.
The hotel's swimming pool is small but very charming, and perfect for a refreshing dip after a hot day in the city. Towels and comfortable lounge chairs are provided.
The hotel offers its own tuk-tuk service that takes you to the two nearby metro stations, which are actually within walking distance. But on a hot day, the tuk-tuk is definitely a nice option. You can also be picked up from the stations.
We really appreciated that the neighborhood and street where the hotel is located are relatively quiet – a real relief after a hectic day in the city.
We didn’t have breakfast at the hotel itself, but downstairs there’s the modern café Lazy Daisy, which is a great spot for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. There are also plenty of other nice places to eat or have breakfast on the same street. Additionally, there's a supermarket on the street, as well as a Lawson and a 7-Eleven, and there's a Starbucks on the corner. At the nearby metro station, you’ll find the shopping mall Terminal 21, with lots of nice stores and a wide range of dining options. On weekends, the basement level hosts a variety of tasty food stalls that our teenage daughter especially enjoyed. There’s also a small supermarket there where you can pick up fresh meals or make your own salad.
If we ever return to Bangkok, I think we’ll definitely choose this hotel in this neighborhood again — truly...
