Mezze Lebanese Eatery — Restaurant in Khlong Toei Subdistrict

OK so I absolutely love Lebanese and Turkish food and that whole Mediterranean seaboard of deliciousness and I wanted to try a different place because I have my favorites of Lebanese restaurants here in Bangkok but I thought why not let’s try this one!

Ordered Hummus - tasteless Falafels - ok ✅ - the garlic dip that came with it was very good that was probably the only thing that had flavor in it I dipped my falafels in it to eat! The beans 🫘 dish - very oil and completely tasteless like they just took the beans out of the can and dumped the beans in a dish and then doused it in oil of some kind Chicke Tawok bowl with rise was decent but again no Mediterranean flavors And the Zatiair bread and dip - it was basically just crisp pita bread with massive oil and the spices did not mix I’ve had this before in Arabic restaurants and this was again it was a complete waste of money! 💰

Overall: the price was way too much for the portions being served!

Maybe it would be different if we ate inside the restaurant but this was delivery was raining outside so we actually went to go pick it up and it was very hard to find the restaurant!

Hope others will have a better experience than I did!

The wait was forever. Food was nice but the communication and the services were not up to standard. Waitresses didnt communcate. Food was missing and the sequence of food serve was questionable. The table came after us got food before us and we got food before the table that came before us too. We came for three but we only got 2 plates. We told them we needed more plate and it never came. When we asked for a bill, waiter just came to us and imformed us that there are no coupon for parking left so they would compensate us with dessert so we needed to wait for another century to get served. I was looking forward to getting the food from this eatery. I assumed it would be absolutely delicious considering the very high rating and the somewhat higher than average pricing.

I have to say overall, it was just about average. The falafel was not at all tasty, nor did it seem fresh. It is also quite expensive for just 4 small pieces. The hummus was really good. I would rate that 4.5 stars, but the falafel would probably get 1 or 2 stars.

overall, their packaging and preparation is good. But they really should improve the quality and freshness of their food. I have to assume that maybe I just was not lucky. I'm not sure if I'll order from this place again. As they say in this country, it...
