Bru Cafe — Restaurant in Khlong Toei Subdistrict

I've waited 13 years for a restaurant like this one.

Even if you don't live in the neighborhood, it would be worth the trip to get here and eat regularly; especially if you love your breakfasts and brunches .

Being a lover of my morning coffee and the first meal of the day hasn't always been easy in Thailand. Over the years, I found a few good places but even the best of them left a lot to be desired; particularly where healthy eating and inventive menu options were concerned.

I actually live in the building where this café sits and wondered what they had in mind when the place was under construction. I expected the usual but, was very surprised at what I found when they opened.

Closing at 5 o'clock their concept emphasizes chiefly breakfast and brunch type concepts (but more too). As others have suggested here, the menu is spectacular, and innovative.

Great and unique ideas, very healthy options, tremendous execution and without a doubt the most courteous and professional staff you can find.

Who knew eggs could taste this good? And the whole experience makes them taste even better!

July 2023 update They probably need more staffs. The dish is not properly cleaned. I drank on a glass with food stain on the glass lip. So disgusting. 🤮😢 The wait for food is also significantly longer than before. Expect a wait of at least 20-30mins. :(

Too bad. This used to be my favorite place. 💔 But not anymore.

Great breakfast place ❤️ love everything here. Food tastes really good. Coffee and teas are great and not sweet. Matcha with white chocolate smells really really good ❤️ The restaurant has cozy vibe and their staffs are also very friendly and attentive. I'm looking forward to their upcoming more...

Maybe one of the worst experiences I've ever had at a cafe or restaurant in my life. Sat down, had order taken, waited patiently for about 20 minutes, mentioned to staff that I'm still waiting for my food. Watch the only people who came into the shop after me and order well after me receive their food and drinks. 10 minutes later staff member comes up to me and apologises that they lost my order (???).

The crazy thing is that there were not even that many customers there. I don't understand how this happened.
