MAKAI Acai Bar (Asok) — Restaurant in Khlong Toei Subdistrict

Having lived one year in Bangkok, I tried all Acai places, but the Makai Acai Café is the absolut best in town! I never tasted Acai this pure, thick, creamy and tasty, and their self-baked Granola is delicious!! The bowls aren't pricy at all, and you can chose all kind of superfood toppings. Moreover, the atmosphere in the café is amazing. You'll find locals as well as tourists, "digital nomads" working on their laptops and girls coming after Yoga class. Ok. First of all, I did not expect this chain to be this damn good!! Like y’all really did the damn thang up in these smoothie bowls, parfaits and everything they have. Who would’ve thunk it? Food is good.

But service is quite horrible, cashier was looking at her phone all the time, she still missed the order, even we are the only table in the restaurant. Need to revise the order 2-3 times.

The vibe is quite bad, small and sad. The toilet is far far away, no washing area in the restaurant.

Just order it via delivery services. No need to sit-in.
