The name of the place is a bit misleading, as are the names of the dishes in the menu. I ordered "enchiladas". What I got was a wet burrito (ie a burrito topped with sauces). They don't really have enchiladas, and their tacos are all served with flour tortillas. The burrito was also more "Cali Mex" than Tex Mex (ie stuffed with rice and beans). All of that said, the burrito was good, it was massive, and a good value. Buffalo Wings were less impressive. They were tiny and the sauce barely stuck to the wings. We did like the blue cheese ranch dip, tho. Also, their online menu says there are 8 per order, but they actually serve 6 per order for the same price. Chips n salsa were a bit disappointing, mostly because the price is so high for very few chips (other places in town give the same portion for free), and the salsa was lackluster. We did like the spicy bbq sauce. Margarita was tasty and fairly priced, but small, weak and the glass wasn't full. I asked for "on the rocks" but I guess the waitress didn't understand what that means. I only had one. If it were stronger and a lil bigger, I would've had six of them (like I do in Charley Browns and Tacos Salsa). Tap beer selection isn't anything special, but the Asahi was ice cold, refreshing and well priced. Overall, I think the food needs a lot of improvement, the menu needs to be a lot more clear, and the drinks could be made a lot more attractive. But i like the place. Good ambience. Servers were friendly and genuinely tried to provide a good experience. Prices are honest (they don't add ++ extra taxes and service charges). Value is a mixed bag but overall not bad. I'll probably try again in six months or so to see how it develops.

NOT Tex-Mex. Not even close. Meal starts out with staff bringing you small bowls with 5-7 carefully arranged chips with a spoonful of poorly seasoned pico de gallo resting in the middle... The only "salsa" they have is this odd chipotle red sauce that's more like a condiment than salsa... And they'll only bring out tiny little 1 oz containers of this sauce, and they will charge you if you ask for an actual bowl of the stuff--which is like 1 whole cup. It's either that or pico de gallo... The chilli con queso weighed in at under 1 cup as well... Hardly suitable for 2 people, let alone 4. The bad news is that Rodeo somehow managed to find cheese that has absolutely no flavor at all. It was really strange, bordering on gross 🤢. The enchiladas were "OK", but only after we re-mixed what remained of that chipotle hot sauce into the watery enchilada sauce. What wasn't OK was the rice and refried beans that had even less flavor than the chilli con queso... It tasted like absolutely nothing. The "Mexican" food here is atrocious... Absolutely awful. If you're American or Mexican, or you know what actual Tex Mex is, avoid this place at all costs. If you do get desperate enough to eat here, you have my condolences. The staff is very nice and overly watchful--Like staring at you all the time. Probably fascinated that you were dumb enough to come here and eat their terrible food.

We came there, 7 of us, at 8pm. The lady at the entrance asked us if we had a reservation, which we had not. Anyway, they let us come in and asked if it would be ok to be at the 1st floor. No problem at all as we read all those good comments about the restaurant. The stewardess came and asked what we would like to order. Which we did very quickly. She also advised us that it could be some delay as they had a table of 13 or 14 to take care of. We ordered appetizer (chicken wings) and burgers. Nothing fancy. After receiving the drinks and few chips (very few), we were waiting for 1 hour with no explanation whatsoever. Not even refilling the few chips or bringing, at least, the chicken wings. We complained about the delay which was already very long and the answer was that the party table (we are talking about 14 people, not even a third of the restaurant capacity !) were keeping the kitchen very busy. 10 or 15 minutes later we started to receive the burgers, little by little. The first of us had already finished (and we waited for a while) before the last burger and my 8 years daughter « cheese and ham pastaĀ Ā» arrived. One of the stewardess (I found her very rude in her way of saying that preparing a burger takes 15 to 20 minutes… I can do better !) And then, after all the burgers were served, they brought the « appetizerĀ Ā» (chicken wings) that my eldest son refused as it was supposed to be an appetizer. I did agree with that. We received a lot of apologies from the different stewardess but nothing from the manager. That person finally arrived to ask my daughter if we would be there again the next day. She did not even talked to me (the eldest at the table, Dad). When I asked the check, not a single gesture from the restaurant. Nothing. I was not expecting anything, anyway. Experience ? Very bad. And, to put the icing on the cake, this « issueĀ Ā» created a problem between us, in the family, how to react about what happened that evening. It was supposed to be the last dinner after 10 days of vacation together to celebrate my retirement… well done ! I am not a difficult guy but this way of managing a restaurant is unacceptable. If you are not able to serve the customers, don’t let them come inside. If you have so many tables and are not able to take care of more than 14 people at the same time, don’t accept more people than you can manage. The food was good, the stewardess were very apologetic but the manager and the management were below zero. If you want to go, check how many people are inside. If less than 10, I guess it will be ok. You will have a good time. If more than 10 people inside… eat before going there ! First...

I hope they can see this review and then maybe consider some minor changes. 1. The side dishes for the steak came out cold. I think they need to work either the chefs on firing everything at the correct time. I had flautas and they came out hot. The chops and salsa is a nice touch but the pico de gallo was flavorless. Needs some lime and a pinch of salt a little spice would be nice. The steak was good quality but the chipotle butter butter came out cold. The steak was not really hot just above room temperature so the chipotle butter didn’t add anything to the steak. Also I expected chipotle butter to be Smokey and a little spicy but it had little flavor. The salad I ordered was pretty good. Caesar dressing was quite mild and definitely didn’t have anchovy or any strong potent flavor to give it the Caesar personality. It was Friday night but the place was quite empty. The food is definitely not bad it just didn’t come out hot. 2. The music was a weird techno music. I was hoping for something more appropriate to the genre like some country music or Texas music. As I’m writing this the DJ stopped and now it’s more like a Tex mex music. Overall I’d probably come back but hope for a bit better food and atmosphere. Maybe it was an off night. Maybe I ordered the wrong food. Overall I’d say give them a chance. It’s different enough from everything else to be interesting.

(Update) Thanks for the reply. I will be back again and I will try whatever you guys think is your best thing on the menu. Thanks for listening. ...
