A friend has recommended dining at Mo-Mo-Paradise in IconSiam Bangkok, and I must say it was an exceptional experience. The restaurant is located in a prime location with a delightful view of the Chao Phraya River, and the ambiance is serene and tasteful.
The restaurant specializes in Japanese-style hot pot, also known as Shabu Shabu, and it's an all-you-can-eat buffet that's priced at an affordable 599 baht per person. The menu features two types of beef, two types of pork (belly and neck), minced chicken, and slices of duck meat. Additionally, there were options of noodles, udon, ramen, Japanese rice, and mochi to choose from.
The different types of broth/soup came with different dipping sauces and traditional condiments like fresh eggs, which separated this place from others. The meat was of top-notch quality and cooked to perfection, with each type having a distinct flavor that was a delight to savor.
It's important to note that the duration for dining is up to 100 minutes. This means that you have enough time to enjoy the food without feeling rushed. The highlight of the dining experience was the variety of dipping sauces that accompanied the hot pot. Each sauce had a unique flavor that complemented the meat and vegetables perfectly. Additionally, there were a lot of bottomless sodas and drinks to choose from, including Coke, Coke Zero, Fanta, Sprite, water, green tea, Thai milk tea, cold chocolate, fruit punch, and a coffee machine.
The dessert included in the package was equally delightful, with some yummy in-house ice creams and sorbets along with Mochi (Daifuku). The staff was friendly and attentive, making the experience all the more enjoyable.
In summary, Mo-Mo-Paradise in IconSiam Bangkok is an excellent choice for anyone who loves Japanese-style hot pot. The all-you-can-eat buffet package, with its variety of meats, noodles, rice, and dipping sauces, along with the delectable dessert options and bottomless drinks, make it an exceptional value for the price. I highly recommend it and can't wait to...
Read moreBottom line - AVOID this restaurant. It was a garbage experience, and the food was mediocre too.

The service was terrible. First they seated us ( two of us) in a small two-seater sandwiched between two occupied tables, and the space was extremely tight.
When we asked to be moved, the staff responded rudely when they finally moved us, even though there was a lot of space open in the restaurant. The reason was they wanted to clean up the other area early so they can close right at 10pm (the marked closing time).
And also, they did seat other two-person parties in four-seater tables.
They also didn't warn us that they would have last call half an hour before closing (including shutting down the self-serve section) AND that they would close promptly at 10pm. We arrived at 8:30, and this is an all you can eat hotpot.
They served us the initial soup slowly, didn't refill the soup even though it was boiling out without us asking (and even then they were slow), AND they never refilled our sauces or even checked it.
They had numerous staff just standing around doing nothing.
I've been to several MOMOs in Taiwan, and the service was substantially better.

As for the meat, the beef was mediocre, but the pork belly and duck was decent. Too bad I ran out of sauce and they kicked us out right at 10pm, so I couldn't finish my food.
It's about 11:45pm on the same night as I write this review, and I'm already hungry.

If management is reading this, I sincerely hope you correct the serious service problems in your restaurant. It is an absolute disaster and frankly very disappointing. I've been to a number of chain restaurants around Bangkok, Chiang Mai and Krabi, and the service here was the absolute worst experience I've ever had in Thailand.
For $1,318 baht for two people, including a 10% service charge, I...
Read moreMomo paradise branch at Icon Siam, though the place got many rave reviews for its shabu style soup, beef/pork quality. However, as another Google reviewer did mentioned, the service was appaling.
They absolute have no clue of what they are doing. Although, there are one female staff (non-Thai) is willing to help but language barrier also is a issue here in term of communication.
Many grumpy servers that use their head nodding as a gesture to customers instead of yes/no answer via verbal. Very rude actually.
Food itself is ok. Not many pork and beef to pick from. But the black soup is always good. Sauce is ok too.
