I read about this place before arriving on Lipe and it surpassed my expectations. The Cheesecake "La Viña", was every bit as good as that in the original La Viña in San Sebastian with the added bonus of the added passion fruit coulis made by the owner Eugenio, which takes it to another level IMHO. I also had a tortilla made to order for breakfast one morning, slightly squidgy in the centre as the best ones always are in Spain. Served with bread which is home baked each morning. What a hidden gem! You would never think you’d find better croquettes in Ko Lipe than in Barcelona!

You must try the croquettes and the cheesecake with passionfruit.

Everything is made fresh and with love, you can really feel and taste that it is. Even the bread is baked by the owner/chef himself! Nothing frozen or pre-cooked, that’s worth the extra wait for me.
