Luxurious and elegant atmosphere, with traditionally-prepared Italian dishes made from the head chef's childhood memories. The food was fresh with seasonal ingredients, offering an extensive (hundreds) of curated fine wine to pair with the meals. Alessandro took years of iteration to get the signature dishes just right, and the result is just an amazing culinary experience. He draws upon his memories of childhood and his other restaurant in Phuket to inspire this neat set of creation.

We were looking forward to try the new aqua restaurant.
A charming hostess at the entrance, well trained staff, nice table, beautiful atmosphere. The chef/owner who I met before once, came to our table to recommend some dishes
Food was excellent great portion except for the “Raw Sicilian Red prawns Rosso di Mazara (Best prawn in the world) smoked mozzarella cream, Sardinian sea urchin and Siberian caviar” consisting of 3 or 4 small shrimps that could fit in one spoon sold at 1250 THB (excluding taxes)
When we left, no one “senior” in the restaurant came to thank us (the chef was sitting at a table behind us) or asked for our feedback.
When you just open a restaurant (that was 2/3 empty when we left) and you have a table of 4 guests (all of us living in Bangkok) who paid more than 22,000 THB , you expect to be well taken care of (ie: with coffee or why not a new desert to try) even after you settled the bill or at least to be escorted and to be thanked upon leaving
All my network, with whom I shared the story reassured me: There are plenty of other good Italian restaurants in Bangkok who treated well their customers until...
Read moreUpdate as of 2023: the restaurant continues to impress. The new country risotto with escargot is a delightful combination of flavours, reminding me of the forests of Umbria although the inspiration came from the forests of Sardinia. Second time round with the lemon tart. This time I enjoyed it more! Lemon tart zestily good 🤗.
A soulful fine-dining experience with the right amount of zest and sophistication. My critical review: Ambience 5/5: The dining room sits in a renovated old house with a large tree enclosed in the middle. At one end the open kitchen is a wonder for all to see. Where I sat, the table overlooked a manicured garden, lit at night. The space is simply beautiful. Menu 5/5: surprisingly very extensive Food 4/5 (5 being Michelin 2-3 stars): Beautiful presented as works of art, fine ingredients perfectly prepared, and delicate flavours make the dishes very enjoyable. (See review in photo captions) Service 5/5: Warm, friendly, passionate, eager and efficient, from the Chef, restaurant manager and other staff - a service par excellence. Value 4/5: Given the generous portions e.g. truffles, the value here is very fair. I paid 2,500 baht for 3...
