Central management took a wonderful, sophisticated food centre, my favourite for weekend lunches, and turned it into a monstrosity - a soul-less mix of burger joint and underground bomb shelter, given the odd grey concrete pillars. It's a shame that Central management and their clueless architect were not familiar with the phrase "If it ain't broke, don't fix it!"

I tried to find the wonderful khao soi that used to be cooked by a group of middle-aged ladies who looked like they had learned their skills over decades at food stalls in various markets, but sadly they were gone.

The khao soi that I was served was by far the worst I had eaten in three decades - a thick viscous sauce at the bottom of the bowl rather than a soup covering the noodles, and chicken that was cold in the centre. To cap this was the price, 350 baht! A double record for me, by far the worst khao soi I have eaten, and by far the most expensive!

Previously, red paper table mats and cutlery were neatly laid out on vacant tables, and waiting staff would take your paper food slip and bring the food to you. Now, it's self-service. OK, I can live with that. But still, I had no idea where to find cutlery, and had to walk around for a few minutes looking for it.

My advice - steer clear of this place. There are much better, and cheaper places in the...

We found this food court by accident and have eaten here twice already! There’s a Thai stir fry place that makes the best Pad Thai (unlike that nasty Pad Thai place in Paragon Siam call Thipsamai, this place was so bad I threw out the whole dish and spit out the shrimp after taking one bite)! The mantis prawn garlic stir fry or with basil was Devine! The stall next to him specialty is Crab fried rice and Crab omelette! That was wonderful also! My wife loved the stall that makes broth with roasted pork with crunchy skin, the skin is still crunchy even when it’s in the soup! The service staff are excellent and hard working and sincerely willing to work and help you! They bring you the food after you order so you don’t have to stand there and wait like an idiot and pick up your dishes when your done quickly! We were so surprised the food was so good here because the food court at the ICONSIAM, Paragon Siam, Terminal 21, most of the food stall either was nasty or bad! Only one or two places was edible!

Highly recommended! The first impression is super clean! I can see all staff constantly ensuring all the cooking and dining areas are sparkling clean!

Second impression is there’s plenty of cuisines to choose from. Basically everything you expect from Thailand and nearby Asian countries. I also noticed they keep the menu fairly easy to understand.

Third impression is how well trained and polite all the staff are. I’m pleasantly surprised. They are all very polite and understand English very well.

Last but not least, the taste of food. I had Tomyum soup and basil minced pork rice today. The tomyum soup is quite impressive. The seafood in there are fresh and very sufficiently in portions. The basil rice is not bad as well. For the prices of them, I’d say it’s very fair. The tomyum is 110 baht and pork rice is 70baht. General taste to me seems to be more inclined to meet foreigners’ tolerance, but who am I to say? There’s many local people here. So probably just me comparing them to different areas’ tastes...
