The restaurant’s located in the Rosewood Hotel, and from the moment I walked in, I was totally impressed by the service. The staff took me up to the restaurant, and I got a super warm welcome from the hostess and the waitstaff—they were all really nice. The vibe in the place is spacious, with two sections on either side, and the drink bar looks awesome. While I was waiting for my friend to arrive, I stepped out to the terrace to catch a breeze and check out the amazing view of Sukhumvit Road. I could come any time since it was evening, and I was really blown away by the view. I’d seen it on Instagram where people stand around taking pictures. The waitstaff even offered to snap a pic for me, and the photo turned out really beautiful.
When I sat down at a table by the glass with another nice view, my friend showed up, and we started off with fresh coconut water. Then we had some hot soup dumplings, which were great, followed by honey-glazed BBQ pork that was delicious. We also had stir-fried long beans with minced pork, which was a bit salty, and seafood fried noodles along with river prawns baked with glass noodles. Too bad we didn’t get to try the Peking duck since you need to order it in advance. Overall, the food was tasty, though a tad salty, but I was totally cool with how quickly it was served. The waitstaff was awesome, answering all our questions. I was chatting with my friend about coming back for lunch next time to try the dim sum because I heard that’s good too. If anyone’s looking for a fancy Chinese restaurant in Sukhumvit with stunning views and top-notch service, I definitely...

There are many comments abt good food already, and I would like to highlight the concept aspect that I like. The menu categorizes food by Nan (South 南) and Bei (North 北), whilst the 2 grand private rooms (have min spending) are named Dong (East 東) and Xi (West 西 ). I am fanscinated by the auspicious meaning these bring out, that people from different places can bond here through food originated from different part of China/Chinese culture.
♨️🦆Peking duck (1990b) is a must and needs to book in advance. It keeps authentic Beijing style which is unique from other Thai-Chinese style options.
Visited twice on diffefent ocassions and staff are all very attentive. Appreciate Chef Master Geng's hospitaliy and interesting sharing about Peking duck culture 👨🍳🦆🤓, and also thanks a male staff help communicate between Chef and us. 🙏
Other things I like: Booking process is simple and effective 🛎 I can directly book from Seven Rooms API accessible from Google Map. Hotel is so easily assecible from skywalk connected to BTS Ploen Chit 🚝
Price wise around 3-4k THB for 2-3 ppl (but depends on what you order).
Only one friendly suggestion: The lighting is bit dark and dim at night to me (though night view is superb) 🌆 In my opinion as Chinese food culture has a big foucs on family, reunion and happiness, wondering if the restaurant would like to experiment on making the inteiror brighter (and hence lift the mood lighter) say seasoanly, or partly...
Read moreOne of the best and most authentic Chinese restaurants in Bangkok. Beijing born chefs that make everything from foie gras Wagyu beef to Zha jiang mian. I would recommend everything we ate including the chef's sweet and sour fried shrimp, the Wagyu beef and their dim sum selections. The cuttlefish appetizer was the best cold cuttlefish dish I had in my life. Tenticles and all. We didn't save room for dessert but I'm sure that's good as well.
Selfie fans will want to take endless selfies at the starlight wall as soon as you come out of the elevator. Referencing the ancient Chinese folktale of The Cowherd and The Weaver Girl. The sad tale is about the Weaver Girl (represented by the star Vega) and the Cowherd (represented by the star Altair), who are separated by a river (represented by the Milky Way) and can only meet once a year on the seventh day of the seventh lunar month. Think of it as China's and Rosewood Bangkok's answer to star crossed lovers. One of the most stunning restaurant entrances I've ever seen in my life.
Great cocktails that compliment the food very well. Kudos to Daniele the head bartender who saw my drink wasn't made properly and remade it himself. I also appreciated the waitress telling us that we may have ordered one too many dishes and recommending a smaller portion for one dish. Other restaurants would just let you order too much to make more money.
Would definitely go back and recommend it for high quality Chinese food at...
