My recent visit to Plant Day Spa in Phloenchit Bangkok for a 90-minute aromatherapy massage was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment I entered, I was greeted by an inviting ambiance that perfectly matched the spa's name. The space was adorned with an array of plant-based decorations, and there was even a serene garden area that transported me to what felt like a modern-day Garden of Eden.
But what truly made this experience exceptional was my therapist, Mint. Her skill and expertise were evident as she expertly worked to ease all the knots and tension in my body. Each stroke of her hands felt like pure heaven, and I was completely enveloped in the pleasure of the massage. Mint's attention to detail and her ability to tailor the treatment to my specific needs were truly commendable.
What set Plant Day Spa apart was not just the ambiance and the skillful therapist but also the exceptional service. Mint went above and beyond to ensure my comfort throughout the session, whether it was adjusting the pressure of the massage or making sure I had everything I needed. Her professionalism and dedication to my well-being were truly appreciated.
Leaving Plant Day Spa, I couldn't help but feel that I had found my go-to place for relaxation and rejuvenation in Bangkok. The combination of the lush, garden-like atmosphere, Mint's skillful hands, and the top-notch service created a spa experience like no other. It's an oasis of tranquility and indulgence that I'm eagerly looking forward to returning to. If you're in search of an extraordinary massage experience, Plant Day Spa should be at the top...
Read moreI believe the high ratings they receive are partly due to the 500฿ voucher they offer customers for writing a review, which they apparently document with a photo. This probably make the customers feel obliged to leave a good review.
The Good: The massage was amazing! I had the deep tissue and it’s probably some of the best massages I’ve had. The therapists and staff were also really lovely.
The Not-So-Good: Considering the price, I expected much better ambiance and amenities. The place is really small. My room was right by the entrance, which is also where the reception and toilet are located. I could hear all the conversations and the toilet door opening. Every time a guest came in or left, it was very loud, making it difficult to relax. The other rooms are nearby, likely facing the same issues. My friend had a room by the road and said she constantly heard cars and motorcycles passing by.
The shower in my room was a cheap-looking plastic cabinet fitted in the corner. When I said I wanted to shower the therapist threw the towel to rest over the shower cabinet for me…and I wonder how clean it is up there…
The waiting area also felt crammed and was a little stuffy
Overall, it wasn't bad, but for the price it didn’t feel justified. There are many other places offering much better...
Read moreReview for Plant Day Spa Plunschritt – Shirobhyanga Massage
I had the Shirobhyanga Massage at Plant Day Spa two weeks ago. The setting was beautiful and calming, and the massage itself showed attention to detail, with firm pressure and a focused technique that initially made me feel I was in good hands.
However, the experience took a concerning turn during the final part of the session. The description mentioned organic oils and Ayurvedic techniques applied to the head, face, and hands — but there was no mention of intense hair pulling or tugging. As someone with fine, thin hair, this technique was clearly unsuitable for me. Two days later, after washing my hair, I experienced significant hair loss, with visible bald patches, which has been deeply upsetting.
While I understand different treatments have varied approaches, I believe better training, clearer communication, and sensitivity to individual hair types are essential. I have since had to see a dermatologist and begin treatment for the damage caused. It’s disappointing, especially from such a well-presented spa. I hope this feedback encourages greater transparency and client care...
