BAYVIEW INDIAN RESTAURANT PATONG — Restaurant in Patong

The service was terrible. Nothing happens fast. Fresh drinks had to be prompted while the gentleman doing the waiting was more interested in watching TV than paying attention to guests. We were seated for 10mins before a drinks order was taken while place was empty. First starter arrived and second came with the main. Main was missing a side which was charged (this was corrected without question). Twice we prompted for fresh drinks (they could have sold us 2 or 3 more if they had been more attentive). After finishing no one came to clear any plates, nothing left the table till after we paid the bill. We were not offered a sweet menu. Its a shame because the food was really good and we enjoyed everything we ordered. The pricing was reasonable, not cheap but below average in Patong The poor service left us unable to enjoy...

I along with my family visited this outlet last week for dinner.We saw this restaurant on youtube multiple times so knew its location.Very near to Bangla road on Thawewong road in the same line as Double tree by Hilton Hotel.The AC is very cold and helps you relax from the hot weather outside.We ordered Butter Chicken Butter Naan Lime soda and Deep fried Prawns.I also ordered a large JW Red peg.The staff was courteous and serving time is fast.This is a neat and tidy place.Lime Soda was awesome.But the Prawns really won our heart.I will suggest my fellow Indian Travellers to try out this Joint after having a joint for lunch and dinner.This will motivate our Indian brothers working there.Total bill amount 1056 THB.Banana Walk is...

We ate here twice. On the first visit, the food and service was phenomenal. We were greeted by an older gentleman that we assumed was the owner. On the second visit the situation was very different. The older gentleman was not present. Instead the restaurant was staffed by a bunch of employees who were in their 20s. The food was still good, however the service was awful. It was baffling to receive our appetizers 20 minutes after the main dish. Perhaps samosas are now three new desert food? We had to repeatedly ask for our cold beers too.
