⭐☆☆☆☆ ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING – SHOCKING LACK OF BASIC HYGIENE!
Visited the Burger King at Jungceylon Mall, Patong (Phuket) around 1am thinking it would be a safe, clean option due to its location in a major shopping mall and its affiliation with an international brand. What we experienced was honestly appalling and deeply concerning.
I ordered a Double Chicken Royal meal and asked for some hand sanitiser. The staff told me there was none and directed me to the sink. At the sink, a male staff member who had just been emptying the bins told me they had no hand soap either. I was stunned. No sanitiser, no soap – nothing. When I questioned how any of the staff were maintaining hygiene, especially those dealing with rubbish or food prep, I got shrugged shoulders and awkward looks.
The female staff confirmed the same: they had absolutely no soap or sanitiser anywhere in the entire restaurant. How is this even possible at a food establishment, let alone one under the Burger King brand?
I expressed I no longer wanted to eat there due to serious hygiene concerns and asked for a refund. At first, the staff seemed confused and unwilling to help. I waited and waited as the kitchen continued preparing my food despite me clearly saying I didn’t want it. Eventually, a manager came out, but even he struggled to understand why not having hand wash was a major health and safety issue. He only gave a refund after being challenged and wasn’t particularly apologetic or professional either.
This is unacceptable. For an international chain like Burger King to operate without even the most basic hygiene essentials is not only gross but a potential health risk to the public. The staff clearly lack training in food safety and hygiene protocols.
I urge Burger King Thailand HQ to immediately investigate this location. Hygiene education for the staff is urgently needed, and the restaurant should not be allowed to operate without proper facilities in place for both customers and employees. If bin handlers can’t even wash their hands before heading back into food prep areas, this isn’t just poor service—it’s a health hazard.

Dirty (like no one have ever cleaned, you can actually spot layers of dirt, made of souce, on the floor/tables/chairs), flies and mosquitoes are everywhere, staff are rude, tired and couldn't care less, 3 cash registers and 3 employees - but all of them are operating on a single register while asking each other questions and having private conversations - hence creating a huge line of customers.
Just to give a sense of time (as it is a fast food hole) - it took them over 10 minutes to pour me a cup of coke (time counted as of printing the receipt).
The winner was when 2 employees climbed up the ladder on top of the ice cream machine, opened it and while they are bent over its open hatch they kept talking and sweating into it, into the ice cream! Bon appetit!
If you must eat fast food, there are plenty of other quick bites around. For instance, McDonald's is about 20 meters from there.

She proceeded to re enter my meal but with fries. I told her i wanted onion rings but she said ‘no!’ There is no difference in price. I asked for my original receipt for proof. She just ignored me
Then she gave me freezing cold fries. So when I told her, she swapped it out but wouldn’t give me the onion rings I asked for.. why not!!??
And the burger sucked. Disgusting quality from Bk and disgusting staff. Train them properly! The tables were not clean either despite the place being empty.
The receipt she gave me doesn’t even state whether the meal has fries or hash browns or something else so how does she even know what I asked for??
