I recently visited this little dessert spot located right in the central area of the city. The shop itself is quite small, but it has a cozy charm to it. The staff were welcoming and polite, and I appreciated the quick service—they were attentive without being overwhelming. It’s the kind of place that seems to attract a steady stream of customers, probably because of its trendy reputation and central location.
The shop offers a selection of coffee, ice cream, and sweets. I decided to try one of their signature desserts, the item that everyone seems to be talking about lately. To be honest, I was a bit underwhelmed. While it wasn’t bad, it just felt very average—nothing particularly unique or memorable about the flavor or presentation. It struck me more as a product of social media hype than a truly special treat. I understand why it has become popular, but personally, I didn’t feel like it lived up to the trend. For me, it was simply “normal” and not something I would go out of my way to try again.
Another point worth mentioning is the price. The dessert I tried cost 300, which felt quite high considering the quality and taste. I think many people are willing to pay for the experience of trying something that’s currently in fashion, but if you’re expecting an extraordinary flavor that justifies the cost, you might be disappointed.
The environment itself is casual and fine for a short stop, but I noticed that there is no WiFi available inside the shop. Instead, you have to connect to the mall’s WiFi, and to do so you need a local phone number for verification. For travelers or people without a local number, this can be inconvenient. In today’s world, where most cafés and sweet shops provide their own WiFi, this felt like a small downside.
Overall, I would say this place is worth a visit if you are curious about the hype or just want to try a quick coffee or ice cream in a central location. The service is nice and the shop is convenient, but the desserts did not impress me enough to justify the price. It’s a trendy spot that many people enjoy, but in my opinion, it’s not as special as it seems on...
Read more🌟 An Unforgettable Dessert Experience! 🌟 My visit to After You Dessert Café in Patong Beach – Phuket was hands down one of the best dessert experiences I’ve ever had.
From the moment you step in, you’re welcomed by a warm, cozy ambiance, elegant décor, soft lighting, and a spotlessly clean environment – even with the crowd (which is totally understandable, by the way!).
🧁 What We Ordered: • The famous Shibuya Honey Toast with vanilla ice cream and fresh banana slices – a masterpiece in both taste and presentation. The toast was perfectly crispy outside and melt-in-your-mouth soft inside. • Belgian waffle with yogurt dip – simple, but beautifully done. • And of course, the highlight: Kakigori (shaved ice dessert) in strawberry and mango flavors. Light, refreshing, and delicately sweet – an ideal treat for hot weather. Presentation? 10/10!
🧑🍳 Service: Despite the busy crowd, the staff were super friendly, professional, and fast. You can tell the team knows what they’re doing – very organized and customer-focused.
📍 Location: Conveniently located near Patong Beach inside a modern shopping complex. If you’re lucky enough to grab an outdoor table during sunset – it’s pure magic.
💰 Price: For the quality you’re getting? Totally worth it. Feels premium without being overpriced.
⸻
Verdict: After You isn’t just a dessert shop — it’s a full-on experience. From taste to service to atmosphere, everything was on point. Highly recommended, especially for toast, ice cream, and kakigori lovers. Just expect a bit of a wait – it’s popular for a reason!

Read moreAfter You Cafe is probably my favorite café in Thailand for desserts, my go to order is a mini Nutella Toast and a mini Mango Sticky Rice Kakigori, both absolutely delicious and highly recommended.
However, I strongly advise visiting a different branch. At this particular branch, most of the staff are rude and unprofessional, and the experience is completely different from other locations. There’s always a very long queue, and instead of treating customers politely, the staff order people around on where and how to stand in line.
One example: my mother was browsing perfumes in Dior and other nearby stores while my sister and I stood in the queue. The staff insisted that if she wanted to sit with us when the table was ready, she couldn’t leave the line. which makes no sense since my sister and I were waiting like everyone else.
When we finally got a table, it started raining and water poured into my hot Americano. I hadn’t even taken a sip, so I went inside to ask if we could move indoors and get a new coffee. They refused, so I paid for a new hot Americano, but they brought me an iced one instead. When I pointed this out, they lashed out at me. Shockingly, a male staff member told the lady to just give me the old rain filled coffee back as if it were new. I refused, because I had paid for a fresh drink and it’s my right as a customer.
The attitude here was terrible. I highly recommend going to the Central Phuket Mall branch instead. The staff there are friendly, professional, and the atmosphere is much better. Plus, it’s far less busy than...
