Little restaurant atop a hill overlooking the Marriott Resort with views to Patong Bay. Nothing fancy here but they do tasty food, albeit a touch on the small size portion wise. I had the chicken massaman curry and it was flavoursome, rich and creamy. I have had a variety of massamans over the years and definitely some Indian influence here. I like the fact you can select your spice level from 1 being mild to 4 being hot. Note there is no beef or pork on the menu. Western dishes are limited, mainly snack types but a reasonable choice of Thai dishes. Apart from the good food the views overlooking Merlin Beach are worth the visit alone. Price wise pretty standard for the area, starting from 200 baht up. A little pricier than Patong but you are paying for the view. Well worth a visit if you are in the vicinity.

Classic Thai seaside seafood vibes. Haven’t eaten but I’m pretty sure the food is authentic Thai taste. However, the staffs weren’t welcoming at all. There was no one, the staffs were sitting and casually chatting, told to look at one of the menus lying on the table. Everything was overpriced + no kid’s table (saw a rusty worn down one) so I decided not to eat there. Compared to marriot’s Thai kitchen, this place is slightly cheaper, but seeing the photos, portions are almost half size of marriot’s. They could have invested a bit more with their current prices. Very nice view, though. Probably good place to get seafood and variety if you don’t mind the price and service.

Hidden surprise. Home cooked meals with perfect authentic style and taste. Climb up the abandoned-looking concrete stairs on the side of the cliff to get to this rustic and well positioned lookout spot with toilet facilities. Overlooking Merlin beach which is a white sand bay between two mountains. Tong is the manager and speaks English after spending 17yrs in Switzerland. The food was a highlight of our week of tasting local dishes. We had Satay chicken, fish, mango sticky rice, spring rolls.. and a couple of cold beers of course. Next door is massage and also elephant feeding.

The most expensive food i ever have in phuket!! U have to pay for skin tax a lot in this place. The portion is extremely small but the price of the food is like 5 stars hotel.. kid size portion food.. All the food starts from 200 baht and above.. Chicken 200B Prawn 300B Squid 400 B I order 3 things but it was not even fulfilled my tummy 😂 as I mentioned “ kid portion size”

it’s not reasonable price at all.

I ordered coffee and it was instant coffee but cost me 100 baht!! 🤣 am like “” really!!!””

To be honest the food was tasty. Staff is nice and friendly.

Anyway,I will never ever go back again. Now I really understand how the tourist feels when they get cheated by local.

If you wanna see sunset, there are ton of restaurants which better view and...
