I went to Ruenthai restaurent tonight and was most impressed by the setting.outdoor peaceful good thai decor n frindly staff. But that is were it stops.the food was the worst i have eaten in thailand.my sister n i ordered fried chilli prawn.i had eaten this at Vie vie in sukhimvitn it was divine with garlic n chilli n lime.what i got here was a thai soup with no chilli n the worst was that there was no fried prwn.it was floating in the soup together with mushroom etc.we did not eat the dish.the second disaster was spare ribs .we received small pieces of hard dry ribs which u could not even chew.all the sauces on the side were very saulty.there only somewhat decent dish was a chilli beef but again too salty.if u want to go here.go have a drink enjoy the music satisfactory dances n leave.dont waste almost 880 bahts like i did.the least they can do is to hire a decent chef.the 20 to 30 baht dishes in a food court r much much better.i am ver disappointed. Thank u Mrs Naidoo Durban Home of good food....
Read moreCame here for dinner with a few friends. Was hoping to see a Thai dance show but as we went there on a Tuesday there were no shows until Friday/Saturday and Sunday. I suspect it'll be 7 nights a week once the Thai tourism numbers recover to somewhere near precovid. We ordered some green curry, Tom yum soup, spring rolls, lab moo, fish cake things, rice and a few beers. Food and service was ok but nothing to rave about. That said the place was nice under the stars. Overall it's a nice place but it's a little tourist orientated and that might affect the quality a little. Cost all in was a little over 1300 baht which was fair. 4/5 stars. It's nice place to have dinner...

We ordered 1) deep fried flathead lobster 🦞 with garlic 2) tom yum kong 3) mango salad 4) grilled pork neck and of course thai milk tea!! We enjoyed ourselves with fantastic food and dancing from the ladies.. couldn't ask for more from a...
