The Globe Hotel — Restaurant in Pattaya City

The Globe Hotel overall can't be matched within it's price point. If you're in Pattaya to party, it's a great pick. Location is a stones throw from the beach and bars. The room, while nicely appointed, does have some design flaws, but it's still probably far beyond any other place you'd get for the price point. External noise can be an issue, but if you're there to party, it's easily overlooked. Get a balcony sea view if possible - the view eyes up right to the water.

The only things I'd recommend to management is to produce a solution for the shower - as it often leaks under the glass and floods the room. I had to use my extra towel a few times to clean up due to this. No biggie, but this seems like it could be fixed. Also, I found my in-room safe to be easily hacked or opened using multiple codes. I've used countless hotel safes, and it just wasn't reliable; the hotel is very safe though, so it wasn't a worry for me.

The service and staff are amazing. Really top notch people and you get the impression they truly care about their guests. If you appreciate the personal touch and interacting daily with the staff, maybe even making friends with staff, then The Globe is terrific. Privacy though can be an issue at times, as you'll need to walk past and often engage with staff on every trip to your room. This is generally a good thing, as they have your safety and well-being in mind, so you're watched over very well.

HORRIBLE AVOID THIS PLACE , First of all start from outside there will be no access for cars if you have lots of baggage your struggles start from there and when you check in there is a bar and that is the front desk, they going to get you signed couple papers and they will take 2000Bhat deposit. There is no space for 2 adults stand comfortably and they don’t have elevator, luckily one of the ladies (people who cleans the rooms) helped me and my girlfriend carry our baggage to 5h floor, and room will be so small if you’re claustrophobic its not gonna be easy and there will be really bright led lights everywhere in your room and literally all the wall covered with mirrors , Room will give you weird vibes , bed sheets will be black and not cotton made me sweat lot in the night, There will be snacks liquors soft drinks condoms there was a umbrella etc inside the wardrobe and raincoat on the table , at the night it was raining heavy i took the plastic raincoat, when its time to check out lady will come inside your room to check everything ok , and this time we had to take our luggage down the stairs without any help , when we check out at the desk they told me that i used plastic raincoat charged me for 15$ And Charged 70Cents every disposable toothbrush that we used AND THEY EVEN TRIED TO CHARGE ME MONEY FOR THINGS THAT I DID NOT EVEN TOUCHED LIKE COUPLE SNEAKERS BARS PRINGLES...

I dined solo and experienced the 9 course course tasting menu on a quiet Sunday evening at 7pm a few weeks back from in-house chef Alex, from stepping into the restaurant I felt immediately welcomed and greeted by the friendly smiling waitress who stayed nearby throughout the evening and if I need anything she was there, everything was very elegantly laid out at the table, comfortable seating and well air conditioned, I was the only person dining that night and that felt special in itself, food was served soon after and the whole dinner experience the full 9 courses lasted about 2.5 hours with chef Alex coming out the kitchen explaining each dish when presented at my table, the menu is changed every 3 months to represent the season and I had the ‘rainy season’ menu with the food, herbs and ingredients sourced from all over Thailand, each dish is a work of art that looked and tasted amazing in equal measures, overall it was fantastic dining moment and I really enjoyed it, I was on holiday and it was a treat, washed the whole thing down with a glass of Chilean red and a posh bottle of still water, if you’re into your food and are happy to spend a few bob I’d say get yourself down to the Globe Hotel and restaurant, it’s at the bottom of Soi 7 near Beach Road, they do other food as well you can order from a varied menu, thank you Alex and waitress, with...
