The Market Pattaya Bistro & Grill — Restaurant in Pattaya City

I came here few times before and had no problem. Higher price than most similar places. Regular Bottle water is 50 baht and many items on the menu is expensive for the portion size. I love the staff, few time they had problems understanding English but obviously we’re in Thailand so lol. What bothered me not the price , waitress or the food quality. I got my burger med/med rare after I asked for well done. So I took a bite of it and I told the waitress that I wanted well done not medium. The burger bun felt microwaved since it was soggy anyways. She says okay, tells the cook/chef behind me well done. It comes back and I look to my surprise, they used the same bun and topping on the first burger. Then even then the burger wasn’t even well done. Now when I pick the burger up to eat , it all falls apart and even worse to eat with same old topping and bread. I only blame the cooking staff for this mistake and it’s a health code to put back my burger I bit into to put it back on the grill. At least they could have gave me fresh bread ans toppings. Very disappointed since I like this place. The price I pay for this place , they should have the cooks trained...

Stopped for an early lunch. I spotted this new beachfront restaurant yesterday, when they were having their inaugural first day soft opening, but I already had lunch plans with a young Italian lady friend, so I returned today to check it out and, I am glad that I did. My seafood pizza looked good and tasted even better. I love the slightly course texture of semolina flour that they used on the underside of their pizza base so that it doesn't get stuck in the wood fired oven. The mixed seafood tasted fresh and sweet, and the added accompaniments placed on the table alongside allowed me to tailor each slice of pizza to perfection. The draft Chang came served in an iced mug that kept it cold as I slaked my thirst, even in direct sunlight. While I had practically the whole terrace and indoor restaurant to choose from, I elected to take a table in the sun. YOLO, so do yourself a favour and check out this place at your earliest convenience. Thank me later! 555

We recently dined at this new restaurant in Pattaya, visiting twice in two days. Our first visit happened to be on their opening day and we came back the next evening.

The food quality is good, definitely above the standard we found in most places in Pattaya. Portion sizes are fine overall, but some could use a little boost—my fish and chips came with only about 6-7 pieces of fries, which felt a bit poor. The drinks are great, with a nice wine selection that’s affordable compared to the Hilton rooftop next door.

One suggestion for improvement would be to serve food and drinks together. I know this isn’t a common practice in Thailand, it would really enhance the experience for European guests if they didn’t experience a 5-10 minute gap between when drinks and food arrive. On both visits, I received my food while my partner was almost done with theirs, which was a bit of a downer.

Service-wise, the waitstaff is attentive, definitely above average for the area, but not quite on par with European standards just yet. However, they’re off to a great start, and we’re optimistic they’ll continue to...
