Wow , what a business model for a hot pot restaurant. I had a chance to get a chair massage and my nails done while having a late lunch. The restaurant was not very business at 330pm. So the line for the chair massage and nails was short. It a total different concept. It’s not an all you can eat hot pot restaurant . Everything is a la carte. The place is very clean and the service is excellent. My daughter shared that they also have a haidilao hot pot In San Jose , california and in New York with individuals able to use a Dyson hairdryer to blow dry one’s hair. What a concept.
The food is clean and one can not do wrong with cooking the food in a long list of different soup bases.
I highly recommend trying out the haidilao hot pot.
The experience is totally different as it a family style restaurant with entertainment with a talented server that stretches hand pulled noodles in front of you.
The price point is not bad if you limit your different assortment of dishes. There is free appetizers and free fruit if you provide your mobile number. Otherwise, it’s a mere $45 baht for the appetizers and fruits. An excellent bargain!
It also has a robot that delivers the food too.
Try it once and you may come back for more.
Enjoy...
Read moreI’ll start with the good. The food quality was very good. You can choose up to 4 different base soups. We chose the mushroom and a spicy Thai spine. The inexpensive meat was fine. The restaurant was clean. Everything tasted good. Somewhat expensive for the area, but not too bad. You can spend more especially if you get the high quality meats, but we spent about 2,000 Baht for a family of 4. Now the reasons I give 2 stars instead of 5. The service was terrible. It was hard to get a server to the table. They forgot some items. At the end of our meal, I reviewed our bill and used a translator (the bill is in Thai) and I discovered it they charged us 180 Baht for the appetizer/fruit bar which we did not order or use. When I pointed this out, it was removed, but I feel they automatically charge this fee and most foreigners will not catch it. This unethical business practice is shameful. It’s too bad because the food is good, but I cannot recommend a business that does something like this. If you go, I advise you to carefully...
Read moreCan’t understand the hype with all the positive reviews here. Not sure if they bought it. My experience wasn’t pleasant. The waiter in my area ignored my table almost the entire meal. Brought out the food then that’s it. Always have to look for someone to get the help and they keep running around and ignore you when they saw you using eyes contact, signaling hands for help, when I got someone, to the attention they would say wait then never appear again. Waiter didn’t bother to care if we are looking for to pay the bill, turned off the hotpot before we done eating. Not a word or tried to communicate, that was frustrating. Got to ask them to cancel the dishes cause we finished before it came out. Food (raw materials) wasn’t that great, the choice of sauce and deserts were very little, and the price was crazy comparing to other haidilao. I had Haidilao in China, Vietnam, Singapore, Malaysia and this by...
