Honeys @ View Talay 6 — Hotel in Pattaya City

Best value for money in Pattaya. My partner is Thai and we split time between Singapore and Thailand spending a lot of time in Pattaya where family and friends live so I have stayed at a lot of Pattaya hotels from 5 star to budget. View Talay by Honey has been my go to for the past 6+ years as they always provide the best value for money and great service.

Starting with the location. In my opinion View Talay 6 is the best location in Pattaya. Right next to Central Festival with your front door directly on 2nd Road and back door directly on Beach Road so you are walking distance from most places you want to go. There are taxi motorbike stations right outside both entrances and bhat buses so you are minutes from everything if you prefer motorized transport.

Onto accommodations. This is a condo not a hotel so you are getting a fully furnished condo with kitchen facilities, a large, clean, quite, well appointed room always with comfortable beds. While the condo is older everything is always in good condition and working with good reliable Wifi and a large selection of tv channels as compared to a hotel. My favorite part of the rooms are the large balconies, especially on walking street side where you have unobstructed views of Pattaya Bay, Koh Larn, south Pattaya all the way down to Jomtien and beyond. The views are as good if not better than the Hilton so best in Pattaya. Perfect for relaxing with a cold beverage and watching the great sunsets

Next facilities. View Talay 6 has full facilities with a large nice pool, gym, small shops, some restaurants, coffee shop by Honey, laundry and massage so you can basically get anything you need in a pinch without leaving the condo building. The building is older but well maintained and have never had a problem

Last but not least is the great service. We use all of the services that Honey has on offer, except the laundry. including their taxi service, coffee shop, food delivery to room. Only reason we do not use the laundry is that family have a laundry shop nearby so we get it for free elsewhere. The taxi service is always on time and reliable, the food and beverage service is good price and always good quality. All the staff perform well and provide service with a smile.

The price to value ratio to me is what keeps me coming back. For the same or lower price as most of the good 3 star hotels in the city you get a condo with all the amenities and services that a hotel provides and minimal extra cost. Unless I am splurging for 5 star luxury there is no place in Pattaya that I would choose to stay...

PROS:|Fantasitc location right behind the beach, next to central mall, across road from night market and loads of pubs and resturants. |Room- we had a huge room 2 bedrooms huge bathroom with a washimg machine, belcony was lovely and big with amazing sea views. Comfy beds and sofa and kitchen had everything needed down to a microwave and nice size frifge freezer. |Hotel- has a few shops which are priced about the same as 7-eleven, place to do your washing, massage places very cheap 200 bhatt 1 hour feet/300 bhatt 1 hour full body. |pool was ok no shade after 1pm and no umbrellas.|If you go out the side you can get straight onto beach road.|Every room had it's own air con.|6 bottles of water when we arrived and maid left 4 bottles when cleaned room.||CONS: |The slope to get your cases, pushchairs etc into the building is VERY VERY steep so no way could you use it for a pushchair or wheelchair. If you use the lift in the parking garage you still have a steep slope to get to it. So if you have a pushchair/wheelchair this is not the place for you. Steps if you can carry your cases.|If you arrive in the morning (we did 9am) book the room the night before too, we offered to pay extra for a room but it was full so had to wait until 3pm to check in. |Room only cleaned every 2 days but didn't come until 6pm when we were resting so couldn't clean it.|Only given 1 room key and fob for the gate onto beach road so hubby had to wake me when came in. |Given washing machine but nowhere to dry clothes no clothes airer on balcony even thought we had a huge wrap...

I’d often wondered what it would be like to stay in this wonderfully central building and was lucky enough to finally have two weeks vacation here.|The location is fantastic. Central Pattaya, next to Central Festival, the beach and second road. Surrounded by everything. |My flight arrived a few hours before check-in at 2pm but the staff at ‘Honey’s’ kindly kept an eye on my luggage whilst I had coffee and a bite to eat at their coffee shop next door. The staff took my Thai mobile no. and said they would call me if I was able to check in any earlier. They did and I was! |The room on the 18th floor was spacious with all amenities. Even a spa pool in the bathroom which was a pleasant surprise! |It normally takes me a while to get accustomed to new beds & pillows, but from the start the bed & pillows were perfect. So comfortable. Just like at home! |The ground (3rd) floor has shops, restaurants, massage, coffee shops and laundries. Everything you would need. The elevator reception staff are wonderful and helpful. The swimming pool large and inviting. |Overall, perfect. The only improvements would be a beach view, but it was high-season so I was unfortunately out of luck.
