Small eatery serving traditional Thai street food at very affordable prices.
We had the special roast pork and wanton noodles for I think 150 baht per bowl (can’t remember the price for sure). It was a very flavourful bowl of noodles with a lot different types of meat - there was roast fatty pork (烧肉), sweet roast pork (叉烧), minced chicken, boiled wanton and fried wanton.
We also had roasted pork neck from a different stall but it was unimpressive and unmemorable (think it cost 200 baht for a small plate).
The place also sold seafood, pork trotters and stir fried noodles but we didn’t get to try them. They also had desserts and mango sticky rice.
Nice place to pop by for cheap and tasty Thai food - would pop by again for the noodles and to try the mango sticky rice. I wouldn’t recommend the grilled...
Read moreThis place did not seem as nice as most reviews had mentioned. I am not sure if it was Songkran, that many stalls were not opened or were they actually vacant. There were only a few pathetic stalls open for business. We ordered our food from one stall and the prawns were not not fresh. You could see the prawn heads had turned black and yet they cooked it and served us!!! What if we ate it and had stomach upset? The price of the food were not considered expensive but given such prices, I could also have nicer food at air-conditioned food courts at some shopping malls. I will not return to this place nor recommend it to others to visit. I am sure you can get nicer and fresher street food if you just walk along the roads. We saw some street food stalls packed with people eating as we walked...

I tried the wanton mee which was highly recommended by a friend. It was good.
The mango sticky rice is also highly recommended. The rice was lightly seasoned and the mango was sweet. They have 4 size options which appeared to affect only the amount of mango that you get. The small is half a mango, medium is one mango, large is 1.5 and XL is 2 mangoes. The XL cost 150 THB, less than the 200 THB price tag at the airport for less mango. :)
My friend tried the soya bean pudding located next to the mango sticky rice. The pudding wasn't too sweet. I think the recommended flavour/topping is...
