Our experience at this place was a complete disappointment from start to finish.
First, there was no indication anywhere—no sign on the door, no mention in the menu—that they only accepted cash. This wasn’t communicated at any point and led to an issue later on. Adding to the frustration, half the menu items we wanted weren’t even available.
The service was disorganized and unprofessional. The waitress seemed completely lost—she started taking our order but walked away mid-way. I had to wait for her to come back just to request two coffees. We had a tight 45-minute window, but after 30 minutes with no food, I had to remind them we only had 15 minutes left.
When the food finally arrived, it was underwhelming: a sandwich made with 1/4 of a baguette, a yogurt bowl with a few pieces of apple, and two lattes that were terrible. To make matters worse, I specifically asked for my sandwich to be non-spicy, yet it was served spicy anyway. The food was okay at best but wasn’t anything special.
Then came the bill—€25. For comparison, a similar meal in Europe would cost around €15. To put it into perspective, we later took a three-hour taxi ride that cost only €45.
To top it all off, when we were about to leave, we discovered they didn’t accept credit cards. With no advance warning or signage, I had to find an ATM at the last minute to pay.
Overall, this felt like a blatant tourist trap, where customers are treated as a bunch of idiots, like the name suggests, rather than valued guests. The food and service didn’t justify the price, and it was a disappointing experience I wouldn’t...

The bread is only sourdough - and even though I ordered something similar the sandwich had an overwhelming amount of onion. Eggs felt a little off. And the coconut yogurt bowl felt a bit smaller - not sure if this is true.
One of our favorite breakfast spots in Bangkok. Happened to stop by because it was close to our place, but when we moved we still kept coming back almost every day.
Sandwiches are great - my favorite is the cheese/mushroom, which is a bit heavy. But their falafel and hummus is lighter with veggies and also really nice
Scrambled eggs are done really well. The coconut yogurt is bit sour - like an extra strong Greek yogurt. But still really tasty especially with fruits and peanut butter
Tried the coffee on the first day but would normally get...
Read moreSuperb!! It is definitely the best place for brunch around. The main concept is “build your own” either savoury or sweet plate. The variety is impressive, all ingredients are fresh, house-made and a lot per portion. It’s gonna appeal to all classic brunch lovers, their scrambled eggs are just perfection but one can also experience a local twist with their unique fermented pickles or the house special fermented coconut yogurt. No experiment can go wrong really. We also tried the sourdough grilled cheese sandwich and it was to die for! The drinks did not disappoint either, freshly brewed espresso that fills the whole place with aroma, the matcha is great quality and prepared properly not in a blender and the cold option are not stuffed with ice, so you actually get a good tasty amount per drink. Just be prepared that it...
