Praça — Restaurant in Prachuap Khiri Khan Province

First of all, such a pretty place and the staff members are amazing.

📌 Get off at The Standard and walk straight until you find the sign to Praça. Do not book through Grab, it will bring you to the wrong place. Just use The Standard. I had to walk a bit bit it was so nice and quiet so I didn’t mind.

🤵🏻‍♀️🤵🏻‍♂️ Staff: Very accommodating, they followed my request to be seated inside and they gave me a big table for three, but I dined alone. Close to the bar, but maybe too close to the kitchen. So if you don’t like people walking in front of you, maybe choose a seat outside. 😄 It was okay for me though. The staff also made sure I got attention when I needed more food and drinks. They smile a lot which I really appreciated. One of the male servers is actually cute. 🙈

Food🍴: Very good. I had three dishes and two cocktails (both Mojitos). The food was so good especially the dessert that I had — the Praça signature, and the mojito was perfectly strong that I think I got tipsy after just the first drink. 😅 I loved it that I ordered two. The dishes were served warm and the pork ribs omg — you can easily take the meat off the bone. 🤤

Serving 🍽️: Perfect. Other places give little to almost nothing, but this place is generous. Normally when I go to other restaurants where I pay 1k, I leave unsatisfied. But when I left Praça, I was full and happy. I almost ordered another pork ribs tbh. 😆

Price💰: Affordable and worth it. It’s not a streetfood-type restaurant so the price is a bit higher than other places but trust me, with how good the food is and how accommodating the servers are, it’s worth it. I paid over 1.6k for 1 appetizer, 1 main dish, 1 dessert, and 2 mojitos. I think the price is really good.

Opening time ⏰: They are open until 12 midnight which is good.

People 👫: There were quite a lot of people when I went there earlier which means it really is a good place.

Tip 💵: Not mandatory since they charge service fee, but they would surely appreciate it.

I would definitely come back to this place again. I’m so glad I came here for my pre-birthday celebration....

The 60’s romanticised Tiki Tiki theme suddenly whips you to Hawaii, starting at the Tiki Tiki beach hut bar that allows the best sunset view. It’s mostly outdoor seating at Praca, seabreeze teasing your hair is the intent. The bungalow setting with patio reminds you of a stately wealthy estate house in southern America, sans the rocking chair at the patio. Step in, the 60s romantisiced Tiki Tiki theme teases with the melding of styles. I absolutely adore this spot. It’s a dry day today - no drinking but here’s where you taste their culinary offerings in full splendour. Modern and elevated Northern Thai, which usually has zero appeal to me. The signature offerings are tuna tartare with crackers - oh what a visual feast and a taste rollercoaster. Fried catfish wrapped in betel leaves gingerly pegged together is another taste delight and creative culinary spin. Soft shell crab sitting in curry is another heavenly treat. We were stuffed after 3 dishes. The service is friendly from Khiew and when it comes to exacting culinary standards, The Standards got it patted down....

The food is contemporary Thai with creative twists that make every dish exciting.

If you're into spice, u will love t his restaurant ! But if you prefer a gentler kick, make sure to ask for medium heat—the flavors still shine. The tuna tartare and crab fried rice were standout highlights…Every dish we tried was simply delicious.

We started with pre-dinner drinks at the beach bar, which set the tone for the evening. Dinner was in the lush alfresco garden area—a relaxing, tropical setting that felt like paradise.

The staff were fantastic—attentive, warm, and very professional. They made us feel welcome and well looked after throughout the evening. It was the perfect end to a day spent by the pool. If you're looking for a memorable dining experience, you can’t go wrong with Praca. Highly recommend!
