The long overdue thank you notes. I would like to thank the waiter, the manager and the owner of the cafe. On June 2nd, 2023 my friends and I went to Phuket Old Town. We arrived at about 13:45 and we split into smaller groups walking around, since it’s hot and sunny we decided to have some cold drinks. We bought watermelon juice and coconut water at a stall, and stood next to the cafe for some shades from the sun. At about 14:15 we finished our drinks and I took out my pouch from my backpack to take some wet tissue to clean our hands. I put the pouch on their table and closed my backpack and left the premise. After walking around at about 16:30 i realised my pouch is not in my backpack. My friend and i went looking for it at every places we went and didn’t think to ask the cafe workers. I thought I really lost the pouch. Later on I called the embassy in Bangkok for guidance. Later that night I received a call from an unknown number and it was Amy! The owner of the cafe. She said she called the embassy to report about the pouch they found that contains my passport and the embassy given my number after they verify the info from Amy. I know this is a long notes, but I’m so thankful for the honesty of the cafe team. I didn’t buy anything from their cafe but they noticed an unattended pouch on their table by the corridor and kept it. If I were to lose it, I will have to travel to the embassy in Bangkok for 15 hours by bus or 1 hour by flight and the flight ticket is very expensive from Phuket to Bangkok. They saved my life! Thank you Amy and team. If I ever been to Phuket, I will definitely comeby.
Disclaimer: This is an honest review. Not a bias review because they safekept my pouch.
Visited their cafe on 3rd June, 2023 to collect my pouch. Bought some coffee and croissants. The coconut bouquet cold drip is super nice! The aroma of the coffee mixed with coconut aroma are awesome. It’s one of a kind. The croissants are flaky and delicious, I would say equal to the one I’ve tasted in Paris. The ambiance is cosy. The decorations are simple and nice. Just nice to chill after a long walk in the town. The best part is that, they have something like alfresco area but it’s covered with aircondition. I’d say it’s clever because the Asia weather is hot and we still wanna have our coffee outside minus the heat. So their cafe is a perfect...
Read moreReally poor experience at this place. We ordered three croissants and were told that two of them (the almond ones) would be “crispy and crunchy” and was that ok. We assumed this was in reference to the nuts and said it was fine. When we tried to eat them it turns out they were very stale and dry. To the point they were inedible. We took them back and asked to swap for another and the answer was that we could not because we had been warned they would be crispy and crunchy. They wouldn’t let us have a refund either. Completely unacceptable to serve what must have been at least a day old croissant with some vague attempt at a disclaimer to prevent people from being able to claim a refund or complain. The drinks were average and one (iced chocolate) was quite watery. Long and short - save your money...
Read moreWhen you walk down the Old Phuket Town Weekend Market street, by chance we discovered this cafeteria. Then found the menu of drink options interesting and especially found the ice cream filled croissant. We selected two cold brew drinks one was infused with Yuzu and the other was vanilla. The Yuzu was excellent and what to expect with a great tasting cold brew coffee flavour that is similar to alcoholic with the Yuzu zesty flavours combined. And similar to the cold brew vanilla drink with an excellent blended combination of vanilla and alcoholic type of cold brewed coffee. And lastly the vanilla ice cream filled croissants were also surprisingly delicious and of a high quality. I highly recommend everyone to visit this...
