BEWARE they say they serve vegan cheese and that's a LIE! A tragic incident happened. I went inside I asked the waiter 4-5 times if the cheese is vegan. He told it is vegan. I even mentioned if I consume cow milk I might die. He said it does not have milk. The menu has ingredient mentioned parmagiano and mozzarella and I asked him if they are vegan, he said yes. And the pizza arrived at the table. I couldnt believe at the stretch of the cheese when I tried having it, so I asked the waiter again about the ingredient of the cheese and then he showed me a packet of mozzarella cheese and I bursted in anger because it is so shameful that even after asking so many times, they messed it. They have marked vegan on the food pictures outside the road. That is a lie! They dont have vegan cheese. I got furious and my partner has asked the manager to come and meet him because he owns a vegan cafe, he can suggest him how to make vegan pizza or maybe remove vegan sign. You cant mislead customers. The vegan signs have to be removed as soon as possible.
Adding comment after reading comment from the business: Yes you are absolutely right about the salad. I consumed the full salad and enjoyed it while having. But after the dairy incident happened, I also doubted that maybe the salad dressing has honey in it. Please understand, how terrified I got when after confirming at least 6-8 times if the pizza and the cheese is vegan, when as a consumer, I got a non-vegan cheese laden pizza, you really expect me to stay sane? And regarding abusive words, I didn't abuse any of the staff. In fact, I was telling my partner that it's not even their fault because they are just doing what they are asked to do. I might have used rude words at the incident (but not on any staff) because I got very disappointed and annoyed coz I tried to maks sure so many times if the pizza is vegan, and then the incident happened. There is a difference. The pizza, in my opinion if I dont consider the cheese incident, is one of the best pizzas in town because of the San Marzano flour you are using and the crust is right, like a little charred and brilliant. Which is exactly why I was drawn to your restaurant. I got so excited thinking you are offering vegan pizza. I have been planning to come to your place since 2 weeks because we live in your neighborhood and noticed the signage before. Imagine the heartbreak when I realized the best pizza I am biting into has animal product in it even though confirming so many times if it has cow milk or not. But anyways, you might not know how serious it can be because I dont eat animal products. Imagine if I were lactose intolerant, I would have hospitalized by now. In fact, we even called for the manager/boss to talk to and resolve but the staff told you were not around.
However, I would like to come this weekend and if you change the experience for us, I will change the review. We would love to meet the manager/boss and also have the delicious pizza with the vegan cheese this time! Of course, will pay for the full meal including the salad price...
Read moreEverbean PIZZERIA Phuket is one of my all-time favorite spots. I come here regularly but have never written a review—mostly because once the food arrives, I dive right in and forget everything else. It’s just that delicious!
This time, I wanted to take a moment to share my experience. Everything about this place is fantastic: the food is authentic and full of flavor, the prices are very reasonable—especially for a location in Phuket Old Town—and the overall experience is second to none.
The staff are always kind and welcoming. The décor is charming, with a cozy and relaxed atmosphere that makes you want to stay longer. The manager is truly outstanding—attentive, friendly, and genuinely cares about each and every...
Read moreGreat Pizza, super delicious like in Italy with a thin dough and fluffy crust. The vegan pizza Margarita and also the vegan pizza pesto we tried at our second visiting tastes amazing as well and I loved it! There is a great choice of vegan pizzas and vegan dishes and also "normal" Pizza and other dishes.
The everbean is a small restaurant with just 2-3 tables inside, a small bar at the street and another small table outside. So not much space for customers to dine in. And it's a bit pricey. 320 Baht for a Pizza Margarita and around 400 baht and more for more special options.
Overall the pizza is one of the best I tried in Phuket and I really loved it! So it's...
