We went here for our Christmas lunch and so glad we did. Whilst it is called New York Steak Phuket you feel as those you are transported back in time to an old European restaurant. Beautiful antique decor that has real warmth and charm. Staff greeted us warmly and were friendly and attentive. We both ordered the Wagu steak on special and they were both cooked as per our instructions. One was a little more tender than the other but they were both very flavoursome. The roast potato's were out of this world, we wished there were more! Considering the ambiance and quality of food, along with a few drinks, we felt the price of just under 2,000 baht was very reasonable. The only downside was the 10% service charge which we feel should be kept exclusively to resorts and hotels. However, don't let that put you off. New York Steak Phuket is a gem and well worth a visit. Major...
Read moreThis place was the most terrible restaurant I’ve been to. For starters, once my family and I entered the restaurant, we were taken to multiple tables because all the waitresses were confused and there was a lot of miscommunication between them. Second, once we sat down my daughters ordered orange juice and I made sure to ask if it was fresh. The lady serving us gave me a dirty look and said it was fresh. Once the juice came, I could taste it wasn’t fresh. It was warm and had barely any taste. When I asked if the juice was fresh again, the lady said “No, it isn’t.” The problem before wasn’t a language barrier or anything like that. My son and daughter ordered fish and it came completely raw and it smelt so strong because it was so uncooked. It had seemed like they cooked it for a very short time. This restaurant is terrible. Don’t waste...
Read moreThis place doesn’t even deserve ONE star. It deserves none. My son and I went to this restaurant earlier this week and everything about it was terrible. First off, the waitresses took our order but it took 10 minutes just to write down 2 pineapple juices and two burgers. No additional requests, just that. The workers behind the counter were talking in Thai. My son and I are fluent but we are white, so they didn’t know we understood. They were making comments on son’s disability (down syndrome) and making fun of him for it. They also said that I must be a terrible mom to raise a son as “dumb as that”. This was super offensive to my son and I. When we finally got our burgers, it smelt like a strong smell of fish. Our burgers didn’t have fish in it. I do not recommend this terrible restaurant. May Jesus guide them to a better life with...
