I've passed by Pothong many times and eaten at their next door neighbour noodle shops but never at Pothong itself.
Tonite, we finally tried it. We ordered the curry crab, century eggs and a fish Maw stew.
All the dishes were nice. I especially liked the century eggs because of the texture. The curry crab to me was not as tasty I'd like it to be but still okay.
The fish Maw stew was cooked with bamboo shoot which we didn't know prior to ordering. I'm not a big fan of bamboo shoots.

Try the moo hong (braised pork belly), a southern thai delicacy. omg it is so tender and succulent. The best braised pork belly i have had yet! It's also the perfect portion, any more and I would get fatigued from the richness.
I also ordered the crab omelette, which was nice and used real crab, though I probably would just get a regular omelette next time.
By the way, the white rice here is delicious in and of itself!
